Why,oh why? I thought when I heard the news. Why must this wonderful, musical end? This thoughts & more were running through my head when I heard the news. RENT closing? It can not be true!?!? RENT has changed me in so many ways, I need it! And there going to end it? Then I get to thinking, RENT can never truly end. If you truly are a RENThead ( you know if you are) then RENT will never die! It will never end, in are hearts & souls. It is a part of us, just because it is ending physically, does not mean it will end emotionally.
Every time you need them, they will be there. They are in us, in a part of are hearts that can never die. Yes we will have to say goodbye on June 1st ( oh how I dread that day), but that does not mean it will end. How can I say goodbye? I don't live in New York! Yes my friends you still have the power to do so, no matter if you live in Texas, Canada, or a big cave somewhere. You can watch the movie version ( even though it's not near as good), as we let are beloved friends go.
I guess I will end this long rambling fan-fic, by saying good-bye to our dear friends. For 12 long years we have stuck with you, through the thick & thin. We have leaned on you, cried with you, laughed with you, & lived with you. Thanks for being there for us. You will be truly missed.
