Kitty sat in the kitchen, drumming her fingers on the table, waiting for Rogue, Jean and Tabitha to finish their meal.
"Like, can't you hurry so we can like, hit the mall?"
Jean looked up from her plate. "Sure thing Kitty. What are we going to get? Shoes... clothes... what?"
Rogue rolled her eyes at the thought of going to the mall for girly accessories.
"Ah'll go ahs long ahs we arn't goin' cruisin' for guys."
Tabitha giggled at Rogue's comment.
"Well you might not be, but I sure am! Hey, we could 'borrow' Lance's jeep to get there if you know what I mean."
Kitty laughed as she pictured Lance running after them as they drove to the mall.
"Ah yes. A good thing."
"Yea that would be fun, or, we could use Scott's car, but he doesnt get as mad at people for using it."
Jean said with a slight laugh.
Tabby shrugged. "Nah, Lance's jeep is soo much funner!"
The girls finished their breakfast and walked to The Brother Hood hangout, once they got there,
Tabby slipped in the house, and grabbed Lance's keys that hung on a rack next to the cracked door.
She tossed them in the air and caught them again.
Once she got outside the girls were already waiting in the jeep, knowing that Tabitha could find the keys quickly.
"Man, Freddy snores loud!" Tabby said, hopping in the jeep and driving away.
On the way to the mall, Rogue saw a familiar motorcycle driving next to them.
The young man on the motorcycle waved at Rogue, sped up and passed Tabitha.
"Like, what are we totally going to get?" Kitty asked Jean Rogue and Tabitha.
"I dunno, I'm just going to look around." Jean said, letting her hair out of the ponytail it was in.
They arrived at the mall and got out of the jeep.
"That was fun, wasn't it?" Tabby said, walking in the lead of the girls.
"Yup, it was." Kitty and Jean said.
Rogue turned around and saw that same motorcycle, Remy LeBeau stepped off of it.
"Hey guys, Ah'll catch up later, Ah have ta' talk ta' someone."
Tabby turned around and waved at Rogue to let her know that she heard her.
Rogue walked over to Remy.
"What brings yer'self here, Remy?"
She asked him, knowing that it was sure not that he had to buy something.
""Aw, chere, y' can't guess? Remy be comin' here often, gets a great discount."
"Ah shoulda known. Since when does the 'great Remy LeBeau' pay for anythin'." A grin spread across his features as she mocked his ego jokingly.
"Hm," he placed a knuckle at his goatee as if in thought, though the smile he still wore purposefully
gave away that it was a front. "Since y' already know why I be here, den Remy don' have to
watch fer you tryin to stop him, oui?" Before she even said a word, he took a step toward the
entrance.
"You comin'?" Barely a step ahead, he was already trying to test her patience.
