Summary: Carter leaves a letter for Horus to read.
Laying on the kitchen counter was an innocent piece of paper Horus picked it up and began reading it.
Morning Horus,
I got paged early this morning for an emergency surgery. I tried waking you up, but you were too busy dreamy about a fight of sorts. I hope you were able to beat those pancakes you were mumbling about. You were cute. (That's right I said it! C-U-T-E!)
Thinking back on it, he could barely remember Carter trying to wake him up. He does remember fighting off those evil pancakes. And yes, he did win.
Anyways, i had to leave you a quick letter since I couldn't wake you. First of all, Baby Horus got out of his cage again. He's hopping around the apartment on his little furry feet seeking out an adventure. Okay. I didn't have time to catch him.
Baby Horus got out? He looked around the apartment frantically in hopes of finding the rabbit. Fortunately, the fluff ball was hopping around by the refrigerator. Probably knew that we bought carrots. He picked Baby Horus up, got him a carrot as well as grabbing a cupcake off of the plate laying out, before returning back to the letter.
Thank you. Also, I couldn't find my my hair gel this morning. I think your Uncle Set took it again. He was visiting yesterday while you were at work. Can you get me a new one? Or at least go bully your Uncle.
Oh! And before I forget! Don't eat any of the cupcakes! Sadie bake them and dropped them off. So they're probably bad. Now I need to go!

P.S. Your mother called. Apparently she's going to be dropping by around noon.
There was a knock at the front door, startling him so much he dropped his half eaten cupcake. Baby Horus was still secured in his other arm. He checked the clock and saw that it was two minutes before noon. So much for this paper being innocent.
