I'm in jail, Jonathan thought. It all seems so surreal. He knew things weren't going to end well but now the shit had officially hit the fan. He had been betrayed by both Warren and Andrew. His friends had just decided to toss him aside, let him take the fall for what they'd done. Warren would have killed Buffy if Jonathan hadn't done what he'd done. She'd be dead, Warren and Andrew would be long gone, and he's be stuck holding the bag. It really sucked, just cause he wasn't "evil" enough. So what's the moral to this story? Being a good person leaves you screwed?!

No that's not the lesson. 'Cause the thing was he wasn't a good person. He teamed up to be a villian, which wasn't a good honorable thing. They had done some terrible things and now he was paying. He tried to take the easy route again and look where it left him. He wishes he could just go back to that day when Warren had his "ingenious idea". He wishes he's said no and walked out. Left the friends who so easily abandoned him. Okay so that's wasn't exactly true either. Warren and Andrew weren't the same people now. Warren had gone off the deep end. Ever since he had killed Katrina, Warren was... frightening. And Andrew, somewhere along the way he started this hero worship/obsessive love thing with Warren. He was angry at Andrew, but he also felt sorry for him. Sitting there waiting for Warren to come rescue him. He wondered what had happened to Andrew to make him so desperate for love and and affection that he had become Warren's mindless slave. But now, like Jonathan, Andrew was facing harsh reality. They were in jail, no one was going to save them. They were left to deal with the consequences of what they'd done. He just hoped Warren would pay too.
