YAY!! My first oneshot!! A little fluffy LeeGaara ficlet I thought up the other night. Enjoy and review pohr-fayver!
There was a soft knock at the door, and though it was subtle, it made Lee jump. He had been training at home and was drenched in sweat, but he answered the door anyway. As he walked over to his front door, he passed a framed photo of his beloved crimson-haired boyfriend, Gaara. Lately, Gaara had been trying to stay in control of his inner-demon, for the sake of his relationship with Lee.
The Glowing moon was outside now, sharing its blue rays with the Earth. Lee wondered who would be there at this time of night as he turned the cold, metal handle of his front door. As it opened, an unidentifiable silhouette stood about three feet from his doorway.
"Hello?" Lee asked.
The figure outside did nothing
"Who's there?" he called out into the darkness.
He still received no response from the dark figure. He was uncertain as to who this was, but a voice inside of him told him it was no one to fear. So with a little courage, he stepped out into the night. The cool air felt good on his hot face. Now with the aid of the bright moonlight, he could see who was there.
He was staring at Gaara, who was covered with bloodstains. Lee looked him up and down, and saw that his eyes were full of tears.
"L-Lee," Gaara stuttered. The sight of Lee's kind face forced more tears into his eyes, and he began to sob now.
"I…I d-didn't m-mean t-to," he stuttered in between sobs.
"I t-tried to c-control it, but I…I.."
It was Lee's turn to cry now as he placed his arms around the young teen.
"Oh Gaara, it is okay. Come here," Lee whispered to him comfortingly. There was sorrow in his warm voice as he hugged Gaara.
"Sh, sh, sh, sh," Lee continued between Gaara's sobs. The two began to rock back and forth gently.
"I know you didn't mean to kill anyone," Lee said.
The two just stood in each other's arms for the longest time, and Gaara held Lee close to himself.
"Thank-you Lee," Gaara whispered as his tears began top subside.
"I love you."
