Disclaimer: Although I would definitely be willing to trade places with any of the people who make up the "Erin Hunter" pen name, they own the Warriors series and not me.
Feathercloud: You've all probably assumed that I've gone and done something strange again. Well... in a way, I have - I've come up with a new, improved Warriors series called "Rising Stars, Falling Moon." Yes, that is the series name. Yes, I know it's not "traditional" and whatever, but it fits very well.
Feathertail: (yawns) JUST GET ON WITH IT!
Feathercloud: Yes, um... oh, right! So, this is a preview for my new Warriors series - movie trailer style. I got the idea from warriorfreak, who wrote the lovely Starlit Sky series and the wonderful trailers for them, though I tried to be original. Oh, and the protagonist is doing the voiceover, by the way. So here we go.
I had been waiting to become a medicine cat apprentice – to be initiated at the Moonpool and train to learn the way of herbs and stars…
Shot of a light brown tabby she-cat bounding up a slope beside a thin stream.
But I had never expected to learn what I did that night – of four with the power to morph destiny…
Same light brown tabby staring with horror at a gray tabby tom with shimmering fur and glowing eyes.
Neither had I, nor any cat before me, heard of a prophecy that had been delivered once before and caused utter chaos…
A battle between many cats on the Island, with clouds slowly drifting together to obscure the full moon.
But this time StarClan prepared…
Small, dark gray kit peering out of the ThunderClan nursery with wide, profound blue eyes.
They have sent back one from the distant past – a traitor, a cold-hearted murderer – to ensure the prophecy's fulfillment…
Thin, very dark gray she-cat standing on the lakeshore, both her blue eyes and the silver water behind her blazing in the moonlight.
She will train us to use our abilities and control them, no matter what it takes…
Same dark gray she-cat hissing at a cringing light brown tabby she-cat, who lets out a yowl of pain to the night sky.
Of course I am worried…
Close-up of the face of the same light brown tabby she-cat, her eyes anxious.
But my most prominent concern…
Same light brown tabby she-cat and a golden tabby she-cat racing across the lakeshore.
Is which one of us will let shadows into our heart.
Four pairs of eyes – two green, one amber, and one blue – gleaming from total blackness.
Feathercloud: And there you have it. I hope many found this interesting enough to be willing to read the actual stories, and if so, I'd prefer nothing else than you letting me know that be reviewing - I appreciate things like that above all others. Until the prologue of my first book comes out, I bid thee adieu.
