*Tears from the Heart*
Harry sat around all day, all night, everday. That was all he seemed to do anymore ... ever since she left. No one knew where she was. Most thought her dead, but Harry knew better. She wasn't dead. Harry just knew she wasn't. But still, he was depressed. Flying wasn't what it used to be and even flying lost its appeal.
But something changed. Something was different. She was back. Harry knew it. He could sense it; it was in the air.
Now that she's back in the atomosphere
with drop of Jupiter in her hair
She acts like summer and walks like rain
reminds me that there's time to change
Since the return of her stay on the moon
she listens like spring and she talks like June
Tell me, did you sail across the sun
did you make it to the Milky Way to see the lights all faded
and that heavan is overrated
Tell me, did you fall for a shooting star
or one without a permanent scar
and did you miss me while you were looking for yourself out there...
She was back . . . back at Hogwarts . . . back in the Gryffindor Tower . . . and . . . back in Harry's heart althought that was one place she had never left. She waas most definately back.
Harry had taken to haunting the common room, lying on the couch waiting for her return. It finally came . . . she finally came. And there she was, light shining about her as though she had descended from the heavans.
. . . Now that she's back from that soul vacation
tracing her way through the constellation
She checks out Motzart while she does tae-bo
reminds me that there's room to grow
Now that she's back in the atmosphere
I'm afraid that she might think of me as plain ol' Jane
told a story 'bout a man who was to afraid to fly so he never did land
Tell me, did the wind sweep you off your feet
did you finally get the chance to dance along the light of day
And head back to the Milky Way
Tell me, did Venus blow your mind
was it everything you wanted to find
and did you miss me while you were looking for yourself out there . . .
She just stood there looking like an angel. Maybe she was. Harry ran to her and wept openly in her arms. She was solid and was alive.
"I missed you so much," he sobbed, "Where were you?"
"I needed to do some soul searching. At least that's what I set out to do. i needed to find out who I am. I spied for our side and Voldemort caught me. I was thrown in Azkaban. When I escaped, all our memories came flooding back to me and I realized that where I need to be is with you."
. . . Can you imagine your love, pride, deep-fried chicken
You best friend always sticking up for you even when I know you're wrong
Can you imagine your first dance, freeze-dried romance
five hour phone conversations
the best soy latter that you ever had ... and me
Tell me, did the wind sweep you off your feet
did you finally get the chance to dance along the light of day
And head back toward the Milky Way . . .
Harry's shoulders shook as he criend and as she held him.
"I missed you, Harry."
"I love you too, Hermione."
