Though Even Siblings Drift Apart

He's sort of glad they're brothers. At least they can't drift away like everybody else has.

Taichi's got his soccer match and he's here helping Yamato and Yamato's here setting up for his concert and Sora's either getting ready or on her way to Taichi's match, trying to be in two places at once because she doesn't want to let down either one. And Mimi's in America and Koushiro's at his parents' wedding anniversary and Jyou's busy studying for his entrance exams and Hikari's already promised to be at a birthday party - and maybe that's a sign of how even siblinghood won't keep them together as they all drift apart, because Hikari's not going to her big brother's game and perhaps if Takeru had made other arrangements with his date, he mightn't be going to his brother's perfromance either.

But that what if is far from his mind as he helps his brother set up, because it's only the two of them. Still, it's a far cry from when they'd been the Teenage Wolves instead, when the eight of them - twelve at times - were all together, setting up backstage and then watching from the best seats of the house and listening to Daisuke's sister a few row's back complain about her brother's luck, and those guys from their dad's work were struggling with the cameras even though they'd had years of experience in setting them up.

They were all elsewhere, but at least there was Takeru, and there was Yamato, and there was a concert and those bits were yet to change.
