Hello. This is my first fanfic so please comment! P.S: I DO NOT OWN ANY DYNASTY WARRIORS CHARACTERS.

"Ninety Nine out of a hundred isn't bad," Huang Zhong said with a big smile whilst staring at his 17 year old daughter. He stroked his white beard in pride. He had managed to remained unbeaten in his archery skills.

"If I just had one more, I would have beaten you but I'm only seventeen so you're a cheater," Xu Jian exclaimed her eyes widening each word. The late morning breeze was blowing her long sandy brown hair out of place.

Both father and daughter ended up in laughter. As they began to walk away, Huang Zhong placed his hand upon her shoulder. She looked up at him and sighed.

"Father, is it really time for you to go already?" She asked with a slight frown. Huang Zhong simply nodded. He was still amazed at how much his daughter was like him. He hated to part with her but he had to fight; for Shu and for his daughter.

He stole one last glance at her and swiftly began making his way to his horse. Xu Jian simply watched as her father rode out of her life and into the world of bloodshed. It took only 2 seconds for Xu Jian to realize she was not about to be left out of this chaos. Xu Jian was the only daughter of the legendary archer Huang Zhong. Being his only daughter and only child, she was taught everything about the battlefield. Pride and determination seemed to run through the veins of both father and daughter. If anyone was to be the hero of the land, it would have to be either her of her father.

She ran into her bedroom. Jian grabbed her bow and arrows from her maid and best friend Yue Cai. As she was about to run after her father, she looked back at her reflection in the mirror. Her hair was elegantly decorated with flowers and expensive hair jewelry. As for her clothes, they were embroidered with flowers and decorated with pearls. Xu Jian realized that she could not go after him as she is. He would have been miles away by now and catching up with him meant she had to travel alone. It was not safe for a seventeen year old to be traveling all by herself especially when she was well accessorized.

"You cannot go alone," Yue Cai exclaimed before Xu Jian could move another inch. "There are a lot of dangers out there. Also, you're far too beautiful to be wondering about by yourself."

Yue Cai was right. Xu Jian was one of the beauties of the lands. Well, to be exact, she was one of the unknown beauties. Her father had sheltered her from the world so much that she seized to exist. Xu Jian turned around. She stared blankly at Yue Cai, knowing she was right. She sighed in annoyance and began stamping her feet before abruptly sitting down on the side of her bed.

Suddenly, Xu Jian looked up at Yue Cai with a big smile on her face. She had a plan that was guaranteed to work. Yue Cai began to look worried knowing that whatever plan Xu Jian had, it was not going to be good.
