Disclaimer: I own nothing.
A tall black hair 17 year old boy sat on an old wooden bench in a quiet secluded area of the park. A look of deep thought on his face. The boy who was named Toya was thinking of his dilemma.
I hate math. Was the first thought that went through Toya's head.
I'm never able to pay attention with him sitting next to me . I've loved Yuki since the moment we met, but never had the courage to tell him. Sometimes I try to convince myself that maybe he could care about me too. On rare occasions it actually seems possible. Like when he reaches out to touch me and stops an inch short or when he tries to tell me something and stops half way.
I sighed sadly.
Why bother ruining our friendship? Yuki could never love me anyway. He's too perfect to ever like someone like me. Everyone loves him the moment they met him because of that wonderful smile of his.
Suddenly I felt two warm hands cover my eyes. My first instinct was to jerk away. Then I recognized Yuki's soft pale hands.
"Guess who?" Yuki whispered into my ears happily.
If it had been anyone else, but Yuki I would have shoved their hands away in an instant, but I secretly liked the feel of his skin touching mine.
"I don't know." I laughed. "Give me a clue."
"I'm your best friend." He replied.
I pretended to think for a minute.
"Give me another clue." I ordered.
"My other self is your sister's guardian."
"I'm drawing a blank here. Can I have one more clue?"
"I've been madly in love with you since the moment we met." He whispered uneasily.
There was a pause.
"I really hope that's you Yuki and that I'm not dreaming."I whispered softly.
"So you don't hate me?" He whispered cautiously.
"I could never hate someone I love as much as you Yuki." I assured him.
He moved to sit next to me and wrapped his arms around me. Joyous tears filled his eyes.
I held his face between my hands whispered: "Please don't cry Yuki. I hate to see the ones I love cry."
With a sudden burst of courage I leaned forward and kissed Yuki gently. At first he seemed shocked, but soon gave in to the kiss. Gentle went to passionate in seconds and it felt so right to have Yuki's arms around my neck, his fingers tugging at my hair. My arms were wrapped around his waist holding him tightly against me. I was so grateful there was no one in this section of the park. Finally we pulled apart breathing heavily.
"Guess what." I whispered in his ear.
"What my Love?" He whispered back curiously.
I smiled brightly at him.
"I've never been so happy. I can finally have as much of you as I want AND I can finally focus in math."
