I do not own Ben 10, only Tyler and Taylor
Tyler pulled up at the edge of the pier, and Taylor bounced in her seat, beyond happy to be at the beach. She looked over at her boyfriend, "I can't believe this! I haven't been to the beach in months! Thank you so much, Ty!"
Tyler grinned and kissed her. "Anything for you. Besides, I figured you could use the break with all the work we've been doing."
They got out and walked down the steps to the edge of the water. Taylor was wearing her white bikini under a tee-shirt she had stolen from Tyler's closet, and Tyler was just wearing shorts and a loose tee-shirt. They didn't really plan on getting wet, but having been raised in California, they both loved the heat provided by the sun, and their current clothes provided them with lots of sunlight.
The couple walked around on the beach for a while before checking out the shops around the area. Taylor found a shop that had hand carved bookmarks made from wood, where she bought some for her sisters, and Tyler found a tee-shirt for Ake with a dolphin on it.
When the sun was close to setting and they were almost ready to head back, Tyler suggested putting their purchases in the truck and walking along the beach one more time.
Taylor held his hand, noticing how it was a little shaky and sweaty. She turned to him and was about to ask him what was wrong when he pointed up at the sky. "Tay, look."
She did, and gasped, tilting her head as far back as she could. Even having grown up on Earth she hadn't witnessed nearly as many sunsets that were noteworthy, but this one left her speechless.
The sun was just barely peeking up above the ocean, turning the sky dark blue, and any clouds pink. The water was was a glowing pink, and twinkling lights from the pier sparkled.
Taylor shook her head, amazed at the view. "Tyler, this-this is so amazing!" She turned, and found him gazing at her, holding a small box in his hands. "T-Ty?"
Tyler took a deep breath, trying to not show how scared he was. He opened the box, revealing a ring, and kneeled. "Taylor, I love you, and I want to be with you forever. Will you marry me?"
Everything in Taylor stopped-thoughts, breath, movement. She froze completely for what seemed like forever to both, before she kneeled down herself, clutching his hands to her mouth, kissing them, and then kissing him. "Tyler, yes."
He picked her up, spinning her around, sand flying everywhere. Taylor was so happy that she cried as she laughed in joy, hugging her fiance. They both knew that this was just the beginning of a long life together.
