Okay, so before I go to sleep I basically tell myself stories. Mostly things I think of about shows that if written would be considered fanfiction. Well, several nights I toyed with this idea, and now, I am deciding to write this.

It's funny how time works. We all are born, we all die, but time stretches on. Every second will change something. Every second is a chance for hope, but also a chance for everything in someone's life to be lost.

When Richard Castle woke up in his loft that morning, he awoke to his fiancé already gone. But that was alright, because he knew where she was, he knew that she was getting ready. Getting ready for what? Well, their wedding of course. It had been planned to take place that day, in the most beautiful venue they could find, one they had both swooned over a bit.

That morning, he had showered, put on his suit, made sure he looked as nice as possible. The boys picked him up and they were driving to the venue.

Its funny how time works. But a sort of sophisticated, morbid humor that only it really knows the secret to. Time can bring anyone to its knees. Because eventually, for some people, it runs out.

When Richard Castle woke up for the second time that day, it was someplace he had not yet been. And it made sense, because where he was, well, it wasn't earth. No, it was darkness on all sides, except for one light in the distance. Let's go see what this place is, Castle thought to himself, because with him, curiosity won, even though he had no clue to why or how he was there.

As he walked, the light started to make sense, as he eventually saw much more than a light. On the wall of this long, dark hallway was a screen of monitors. Several images stared back at him. Some, he remembered, though not like this. Here, he could see himself in some of them.

But what was most confusing was the person sitting in front of these monitors. As he took the woman in, he felt like he had seen her before. But at the same time, he felt as if had never really met her. He didn't know what voice to expect from her. Maybe she was at one of my book signings, Castle thought to himself.

As he stared at the woman, who was looking at him just as much as he was looking at her, she spoke, "Ahh, Mr. Richard Castle. You have no idea how much I have wanted to meet you."

And as she smiled at him, it dawned on him who exactly this woman was.

Johanna Beckett.

So, I don't know what you all think about this or the start of this, but a lot more will be explained in the future. Read and review… xx
