The man who brought the package to the door was just another Joe Blow. Not anyone who would be recognized again. He had no idea that the package he held in his hand had the power to bring a certain young man so much happiness, and yet so much sadness at the same time. He had no way of knowing that by delivering this package, he would be setting into motion events that may not have otherwise come about.

The package itself was rather plain, Harry Potter, wizard extrodinaire, thought as he turned is round adn round his hands. It was wrapped with brown packing paper, and had a tiny pawprint in the upper righ hand corner. Harry smiled fondly at the thought of his godfather, Sirius Black, recognizing his signature. Though Dark Lord Voldemort had been defeated at the end of Harry's 7th year at Hogwarts, many Death Eater wannabes still hung around, trying to cause trouble. Sirius, and his best friend Remus Lupin, were over searching the world for these cretins, wanting to bring them to justice.

He opened one side of the paper, and peered inside. To his suprise he found a plastic box. He hurridly unwrapped the rest of it, and stared at the box he held in his hand. It was like a muggle videotape. The front consisted of a collage of pictures of James and Lily, Harry's desceased parents.

His mind registered that a note had fallen to the ground, and he leaned down to pick it up. On it was a moving picture of Sirius and Remus. It was the new way of communicating in the wizarding world, where one could record themselves talking and transfer it to paper, so it seemed like the person was talking right to you.

"My Dearest Godson," mini-Sirius began, before being elbowed by mini-Remus.

"Okay, fine. Our dearest Godson Harry. We hope this letter finds you well. As I . . . fine, Remus, as we were cleaning out the attic a few weeks ago, we stumbled upon this old video footage of your parents and us in school. Yes, Harry, I know that muggle electronic devices don't work at Hogwarts, but they do if you know the right charms . . . which of course we did . . . But anyways, we edited it together into one tape. Enjoy, and we'll see you in a few days."

"We love you Harry!" Mini-Remus threw in quickly. '

Harry looked down at the package for a few minutes, watching the different pictures of his parents run around the cover. He laughed as he saw first years James and Lily wrinkling their noses as they saw seventh years James and Lily locked in an embrace.

He was so caught up in watching his parents that he hadn't noticed another presence in the room until he felt warm breath on the back of his neck. He tensed, but quickly relaxed when he recognized the familiar chuckle of his long-time best friend.

"What have you got there Harry?" Hermione asked, trying to see what he held in his hand, a difficult task given the 6 inch height difference between the two.

Harry turned to properly greet his best friend, but was immediately distracted by a barrage of scents that invaded his nostrils. He had always associated her with cinammon and spice. She never wore floral scents, but then they never quite seemed to suit her, either.

He shook his head to clear his thoughts, and held up the tape.

"Care for a movie, Hermione?"
