Alright this if for AugustMists Eureka Season 3/4 Winter Break - Challenge 2
Write a fic, between 400 and 500 words in length, on any pairing or subject related to Eureka Season 3. You MUST mention atleast two events that happened in Season 1, in reasonable detail. Also: use the words 'Aesthetics' and 'Floodgates' and either the phrase 'Dysfunctional Hypocrite' or 'Innovatively Artificial' (or variations thereupon).

Jo had a lot of time on her hands. She lay down on the bed and thought things through carefully trying to piece things together.
The reason she was in Julia's body now was because Julia had a crush on Fargo. Julia was also being aesthetic; she thought that Fargo would notice her because she looked like Jo. Fargo Jo thought. The socially awkward guy who had a crush on for as long as she could remember. Of course he was always causing trouble. Like that one time when he launched a cold war missile, or when he and Seth got into stupid little fight, and it ended with Seth's plants being burned down, because everyone was acting different. And there was also that other time, when he used some of that speed juice, and was running around with super speed. Then there was that other time when he gave Dr. Stark that computer chip that looked like a mole, which caused there to be multiple Starks. Jo could think of many more, but she didn't want to think about Fargo anymore.
Jo never really thought of Fargo has boyfriend material, of all the years she knew him she only thought of him as a friend. And now of course she had Zane, but they weren't talking at the moment, because he was being a dysfunctional hypocrite. He said no one was perfect to his girlfriend and Jo was pretty sure that boyfriends were supposed to be supportive.
There was a knock on the window. There stood Zane. Jo was relieved; that he was here maybe he could fix this and save her.
"Zane thank god you're here."
"Julia right?" he asked. "Allison told me what you did to Jo." The worst thought occurred to Jo, he might not believe her. Jo's floodgates were ready to burst, she wanted to explain it all but she knew she had to take her time with this.
"No, she's Julia Golden and I am Jo." Jo said she realized this might take longer than she though to convince him. But she knew she could do it.
After what seemed like hours of trying to get Zane to believe that it really was her. She did.
"And how did the date end?" He had asked her.
"Let me give you a reminder." Jo said smiling and kissed him. She forgot about her earlier conversation in Café Diem. She forgave immediately because he had been the one to realize that she was Jo not Julia. This proved to Jo that Zane really did care about her.
"That's My Josefina." Zane said smiling, and got a smack from Jo. But she smiled happy to have him back. Although she hated the face that he had used her full name.
