I WILL FIND YOU.

Ch. 1 – Sirius's confusion.

DISCLAIMER: The characters of course, aren't mine, they are J. K. Rowling's .

A/N: This happens to be my first fanfic. Please be gentle! :P I really hope you like the story and even though the first chapter isn't great (with those innumerable grammar mistakes and stuff) but I've got interesting stuff ahead.

It had been a week since Lily and James's marriage. 'Their whole world is a bed of roses now…' thought Sirius as he put down the day's Daily Prophet after having read every single story once and some, twice. He was getting used to it though. He got up from his chair and started walking wherever his feet took him. 'Come on, Sirius, you've always wanted them to be together. So what if you're left by yourself for a few hours?' said a voice inside his head, which sounded quite exactly lie his own. It as the devil in his head maybe.

'Hours? I get to see them during meals and even that, if I am lucky and they are not having some romantic candle-lit dinner or a cuddly breakfast in bed' he thought back.

'Oh, you know, it's like their honeymoon phase. Give it a few more weeks and they'll be normal again. Meanwhile, all you have to do is find someone for yourself. Perhaps a new girlfriend could distract you.'

Sirius gave a cold laugh. 'I don't need a girlfriend, thanks.'

'Why not?' The voice in his head was persistent.

'Because,' suddenly, Sirius couldn't get himself to think of a reason. He wanted to run away from it. He sighed 'Forget it.'

He was now standing in front of a wall, which looked lied it had been kept vacant specially for hanging pictures on it. About a hundred frames of different shapes and sizes, arranged randomly hung still as the lively pictures inside them boomed and cackled with laughter. Most of the pictures were of Remus, James, Sirius, Peter and Lily. Holding hands, fluffing each other's hair, stood the handsome marauders laughing, fighting, but together. He half-smiled and continued walking.

'So why don't you want a girlfriend mate? The annoying voice in his head had returned.

'SHUT UP, WILL YOU?' He was growing frustrated. He signed a small note to his friends, who were last seen during the previous night's dinner, and grabbing a glossy jacket, he stormed out of the house.

It was a humid day and there were gray clouds overhead. Now used to it, Sirius had no idea where he was going. He had no idea where his life was taking him…
