A/N: Prince William and Kate got married today! And after watching the whole thing it inspired to write this up. Enjoy!

I was hysterical when Annabeth came in.

"Hey Percy, what'cha doin'?" she said while plopping down on the couch next to me. I hid the box with lightning speed but Annabeth being a daughter of Athena, caught me.

"What's that?" her head cocked to one side.

"Oh just this… thing… not important." I stuttered, but I slowly gained my composure. "Not more than you, anyway."

She laughed and put her arms around my neck. "Wow, someone's cheesy. But I can't say I don't like it."

This time I laughed, wrapping my arms around her waist and pulling her closer. "Annabeth Chase likes it when Percy Jackson is cheesy? Wow I must be the lucky one who got to witness it."

She narrowed her eyes at me. "Well, you're not-"

I shut her up by kissing her and after kissing me back for a minute or two she pushed me away. "Oh no, you're not getting the easy way out this time mister." Her face was inches from mine, before she pulled away and sat down on a chair. I frowned.

"I'm sorry." I picked her up and set her on the couch again. When she didn't react, "What can I do to make you accept my apology, Wise Girl?"

I thought she would lean in and kiss me, but I guess I was wrong.

"What's in the box?" she asked.

"I'll show you, I promise. But before that, I need to tell you something." I got down on one knee. It's now or never. "Annabeth Chase, I have loved you more than anything else in my life, and I still do. We had fights, sure. Who doesn't? But I love you and I want to spend my whole life with you. It's a request, a plea. So please, marry me?"

Annabeth's expression was unreadable when she mumbled, "Why?"

My face fell. "Oh, I .. thought that… I'm sorry." I turned to walk away, but then she spoke.

"No, I mean, why do you want to marry someone like me? I mean, I can't cook, I can't clean, I always run into trouble, I'm too hard to handle. I don't think I deserve this. I ruin almost everything; I don't wanna ruin your life."

I shook my head. "But the thing is, I love the way you can't cook, or clean, the way you're so troublesome, and I like a challenge. I don't think a great girl like you deserves me either, but my heart belongs to you and I can't live without it. By marrying me, you're not ruining my life; you're making me the happiest guy alive."

"Well, if you can handle this, then it's a hell yes!" she ran into my arms and kissed the living daylight out of me.

I truly was the happiest guy alive.

A?N: So how do you like it? Even if you don't please review, I would even appreciate constructive criticism or even flames for that fact. Just let me know if I'm horrible or good. Put in a smiley at the least. Thank you!
