A/N1: a quick drabble that came to my mind while reading some of fan theories in which some people are afraid that MoA might came up with an idea of killing Caesar(I'm somehow among them too), it's my musing on how else Rex can "lost him", but my theory it's rather unlikely to happen.

"César!" Rex shouted as he made his way through the rubble of what once had been a Nanite Reactor "Bro! I'm sorry, I'm so sorry…" younger Salazar chanted as he dropped to the ground next to his sibling and tried to shake him awake "…I didn't mean to… you didn't tell me"
After a while of silence Caesar's coughed several times, his eyes slowly fluttered open. The man blinked, fixing his hazy eyes on his brother's frame.
"Bro, you're alive" Rex said happily and clung to his brother neck. "I'm so glad you're alive!" the curing E.V.O. laughed hysterically. He was an emotional wreck.
"who are you?" Caesar finally asked with hoarse, confused and somehow scared voice.
"who… am I?" Rex's eyes widened, his smile dropped immediately. The man nodded, Rex loosened his grip, allowing his sibling to sat up "I'm Rex. You're… César. César Salazar. My brother" the tears streamed down teenager's face "Don't you remember?"
Caesar narrowed his eyes, knitting his brows, visibly focusing. Then he shook his head.
"I'm sorry…I wish I could remember but…" Rex forced a sad smile upon his face placing his hand on his older brother's shoulder.
"I'll help you, Bro… I finally remember everything"
