Trapped in Imagination Chapter One: Not So Pretend After All
Callie turned off the lights and slowly counted to 10. She blinked twice and sat down on her bed. The streetlight outside her window helped her as she absently filed her nails.
"Hmm… Trista!" she pretended to yell. She was forced to whisper with her mom in the next room. Imagine if she could yell.
Trista appeared, stopping her thoughts. "What?" She asked.
"Well actually…"
"You were bored."
"Exactly."
Trista sighed, amazed at how often Callie was bored."I know how to fix that. Tecna!"
"No!"
But it was too late. Tecna was already here, and Trista was already telling her that Callie was bored, and needed something to do.
And now Callie was already trapped in one of her little devices, magic-proof and teleport-proof. And soon she fell asleep.
The girl woke up. After a few seconds, she was awake enough to remember what happened. She opened her eyes, expecting to see her room. And she did.
I reached down for Mom's cell phone. I went to the internet and then Fanfiction. Then I saw the first strange thing. The category list had something new on it. The list now had anime, books and cartoons, plus some stuff I never went to. The new item was called PW. I noticed how much that looked like how I abbreviated pretendworld. I looked at it and realized something important.
Callie couldn't believe it. She didn't notice until she opened the story. She saw a story Tecna had written. That she had actually played out! But it wasn't real! It couldn't be! This was her dearest wish come true!
