Hi there! It's time for my first oneshot! And a Prince of Tennis one at that! Anyways, yay for Ryosaku!

Disclaimer: I don't own this anime or the manga. I am simply a fan. And not the type of fan that blows air and wind and... Well, you know what I mean. Enjoy!

Sakuno held the tennis ball in her hand tightly.

She thought back to the moment just a few hours ago.

She was getting juice for her grandma, who was waiting for the tennis team a couple of courts away. Then, she caught sight of Ryoma. He was playing against some guy like the one he beat when he was getting cocky. Plus, he almost hit Sakuno in the face with his racquet.

"Ryoma-kun?"

She saw him beat the guy with the Twist Serve. She guessed the score was 6-0.

"Mada Mada Dane." he said.

"Ah. Ryuzaki." he said as he walked out of the court. Sakuno snapped out of her daze.

"Here." he said.

"Ah. T-t-t-thank you." she replied sheepishly.

It was a tennis ball. Specifically, the tennis ball he had just used for the Twist Serve just now.

"See ya." he said as he ran off.

"Hai… AH! THE JUICE! M-matte!" she whisper-yelled.

BACK TO THE NOW…

She giggled at her mistake.

"Ah! I've always wanted to try this." she said.

She ran to her home where she hopped around to her place in the back of the building.

Little did she know that the prestigious Tennis prodigy Echizen Ryoma also knew about that place, despite being far from his Japanese styled home. And he used that to wind down. He was heading there now for that reason exactly.

Sakuno giggled.

"But he always says it so seriously."

She put on her best serious look which turned more into a glare.

"But he also says it so carefree." she said.

She put on her best carefree look which turned into a smirk.

Sakuno sighed. "I guess I should just go for. Right? Emotionless. Got it."

"Mada mada dane." They said in unision.

Sakuno giggled, then flat out laughed. "Just like that!"

Then she realized someone besides herself had also said it.

"Ahhhhh… R-ryoma-k-kun." Sakuno said.

Ryoma smirked. "Mada mada dane, Sakuno."

Sakuno blushed furiously.

"R-r-r-r-ryoma-kun."

Ryoma leaned in and kissed her cheek.

"What? Ryoma-kun…likes me?"

"Shut up." Ryoma snapped.

Sakuno giggled.

"I like Ryoma-kun too." she said before kissing him on the lips.

"…"Ryoma stared in shock.

Sakuno giggled.

"Sh-Shut up." he said with a blush on his cheeks.

Although after that, he smiled and pulled her into a hug.

They stayed silent like that until Sakuno said, "It seems unlikely that you of all people would do this kind of thing Ryoma-kun."

"Shhhh… Just be glad it's me and not Fuji or Tezuka."

"Since when did you get into calling people by their first names?"

"Shut up." he laughed as he pulled her back into a hug.

I'm not sure if the ending is sweet or not. I would second that.

"Just be glad it's not Fuji or Tezuka." I wasn't sure if it was any good or any fun to read, but at least it had a lighter feel to it than my other stories. Please click the magical review button! Constructive criticism appreciated!
