This is a request story for one of my "friends", (I hope I can call you that. xD) it's for, "Greymon Leader". I hope you enjoy it to the fullest.

Bulbasaur's eyes slit open when a glimmer of light shined across his eyelid, making the small Pokemon yawn and stretch tiredly. Bulbasaur toddled around and began to smell an aromatic fragrance coming from most likely Brock's cooking. He ran faster, knowing that there was Pokemon food to be eaten.

"Ah, Bulbasaur, your bowl is over there near Squirtle." Ash pointed, making Bulbasaur rush to get to his bowl.

Bulbasaur happily gulped down his food, remembering the special day that was today. His birthday. He just had to wait until his owner was done eating, and maybe he'll get a "Happy Birthday".

"Hey, Ash." Misty whispered, nudging Ash's arm.

"Yeah?" Ash asked through bites of food.

"When are you going to give Bulbasaur the present?" Misty questioned quite giddily, excited about the present that was to be given.

"Soon." Ash answered simply.

Misty crossed her arms impatiently, she really wanted to see Bulbasaur's expression when he saw the gift! It was probably the most amazing gift you could give a pokemon! So you could just imagine the impatience emitting from everybody that knew.

"Bulbasaur, bulba bulba." Bulbasaur talked to Pikachu after eating. (Translation: "Hey, what's up?")

"Pika pikachu, pika pika pi." Pikachu answered, smiling widely. (Translation: "Nothing much..except your birthday!")

"Bulba! Bulbasaur bul bul, Bulbasaur!" Bulbasaur smiled with a slight blush. (Translation: "Ahh, you remembered?")

Pikachu nodded, excited about the day ahead. Suddenly Ash's voice stopped the two from their chat. So, the two rushed over to their owner, wondering what was going on.

"Bulbasaur, I got a present for ya." Ash grinned, showing him an odd stone he's never seen before. "Happy Birthday, Bulbasaur."

Bulbasaur cocked his eyebrow at Ash, not knowing what this stone was.

"Bulbasaur, we're going to evolve you." Ash started saying with sparkly eyes. "It's an evolutionary stone."

Bulbasaur's eyes lit up excitedly, now knowing what was happening here. He was going to evolve into an Ivysaur!

"Here ya go." Ash smiled, handing Bulbasaur the stone. Finally, the stone brightened as it wrapped around Bulbasaur, slowly turning him into an Ivysaur.

The eyes of everyone grew in interest when they experienced this amazing moment. Just minutes after, Bulbasaur turned into an Ivysaur. Everyone cheered loudly for him, and shouted the same thing over and over again,

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY, IVYSAUR!" Everyone yelled.
