Yes this is my first Fanfic, so i haven't a clue. But any tips an such would be nice! plus there might be mistakes here and there, cause it was really late when i wrote this. Thank ya!

Sitting on a deck that looked out over the ocean, Riku sat thinking. With his feet dangling in the water, and his hair reflecting the setting twilight sky, aqua eyes looking lost to the sea. All around Riku, things were silent minus the soft waves and sound of the seagulls. He sat there only now and then to move, or change positions. Sighing he reached up his hand and, which was originally resting on his knee, brought it up to his silver tresses to gently pull some pieces of his hair behind his ear. After going back to sitting and thinking, he seemed to miss the sound of pattering feet behind him. That was sight that Sora saw when he slowly walked over to Riku. Quietly Sora sat himself next to Riku, as to not bother him. Looking to his left the only thing he saw was aqua eyes, then looking at Riku fully, he smiled. Riku then gave a small smile in return.

"Hey.." Riku said softly

"Hi" Sora replied, "What are you doing?"

"Just thinking."

"About?"

A frown then pulled at Riku's lips, "N-Nothing, Sora."

A small sigh was heard, "Riku...why can't tell me? D-Don't you trust me?"

Shocked, Riku quickly looked away, letting his head fall slightly. Sora's words seemed to hurt him more than he thought, why?

Why can't times be like they used to be?, Riku didn't know.

Holding back the tears, "Sora..I-I-" muttered Riku softly "I-I-I'm, I'm sorry!"

Looking up at Sora, Riku saw that there were tears in his bright blue eyes, "Riku?"

Suddenly Riku moved and grabbed hold of Sora's shoulder and pulled him close. Sora then buried his head in his best friends

shoulder, softly crying. Why? Why is everything so different now?, Sora couldn't say. Because right now, he just needed the comfort. Riku silently let the tears he was holding back, fall down his cheeks. Closing his eyes, he rested his head on the cinnamon spikes.

Then slowly he started to rock them, saying nothing but holding Sora close, as Sora did the same to Riku.

Opening aqua eyes, Riku opened his mouth; only one thing came to his mind...

"How can I repay you, brother mine?

How can I expect you to forgive?

Clinging to the past, I shed our blood.

And shattered your chance to live."

Looking up for soft brown bangs that had silver streaks, Blue eyes peered up at him curiously..

"Though I knew the laws, I payed no heed.

How can I return your wasted breath?

What I did not know has cost you dear,

For there is no cure for death..."

Slowly the same blue looked content and closed, resting back on the soft, strong shoulder and listened...

"Beautiful mother, soft and sweet,

Once you were gone we were not complete.

Back through the years we reached for you,

Alas 'twas not meant to be.

And how can I make amends?

For all that I took from you?

I led you with hopeless dreams,

My brother, I was a fool.

Don't cry for the past now, brother mine.

Neither you nor I are free from blame.

Nothing can erase the things we did,

For the path we took was the same.

Beautiful mother, soft and sweet,

Once you were gone we were not complete.

Back through the years we reached for you,

Alas 'twas not meant to be.

My dreams made me blind and mute.

I long to return to that time.

I followed without a word,

My brother the fault is mine.

So where do we go from here?

And how to forget and forgive?

What's gone is forever lost.

Now all we can do is live..."

As the sunset lighted the water under their feet, Sora slowly smiled and held onto Riku's hand, He had forgotten how well Riku could sing...
