He wondered what it was like being a Freedom Fighter. He felt like a true hero joining them as they save the day. He then thought what it'd be like if the team never existed. "Why am I thinking that?" he mumbled to himself as he kicked a small stone on the pathway, making T-Pup chase after the small rock. Despite him only being eight-years-old, Tails was a very valuable ally to his team, always coming up with the best inventions to help the team and his brother.

During his free time, he would go for strolls through the forest, thinking about random things. The last walk he had, he was thinking about new inventions he could create, even going as far as actually building one them as soon as he returned to HQ; the Hurricane Bomb. A small invention that when it exploded, it would summon a hurricane strong enough to lift almost seven Egg Pawns at once. But that was before, this was now.

The thought pulled at his mind as he tried to think what life would be like if he wasn't saving the world with the team he calls family. What would he be doing in his time? Building inventions like always? For him, he loved building things but it was different when he didn't have anything else better to do other than read. It just sounded lame. He enjoyed kicking metal butt with his friends, no matter how dangerous the situation was. He was always happy when his inventions came in handy during missions, his small robot dog being one of his favourites; not including the Tornado. The small machine returned back to its master, its tail wagging like crazy. Tails smiled and pet the dog on the head as it let out a small mechanical bark. He continued his walk and kept on thinking.

"I don't think I'd be who I am if it weren't for them" the fox said. "I wouldn't be the same person I am now if it were not for Sonic… What do you think?"

*Bark!* T-Pup yapped in response as it walked obediently by its masters side. His thoughts soon changed to the blue hedgehog. He and his cockiness always put a smile on Tails' face. His never-give-up attitude always inspired the young fox to do just as great. His "brother" meant so much to him. If Sonic put himself in serious danger, Tails would worry but he always knew that he'd pull through, no matter how impossible the situation seemed.

Then he focussed on the team. They always made him feel special; they all were but in their own unique way. They treated him like a family member and would always leave it up to him to invent technology just as amazing as the ones he built in the past. His inventions has saved the teams lives several times and pulled them out of sticky situations. They were proud of him and he too, felt proud of himself, hoping that he can do even better to benefit the team during missions.

He was suddenly snapped out of his thoughts when he felt a buzzing on his wrist. It was his communicator. T-Pup barked at the device in an excited jump. "Hello?" Tails said with his communicator at his lips.

*Hey buddy!* said a familiar male voice. *Another mission has come up. Where the heck are you?*

"Just taking T-Pup for a walk in the forest. I'll be over in a minute!" he replied.

*Cool. I'll see you soon!* With that, the transmittion went offline. Tails lowered his arm and quickened his pace to a steady run, his robot hot on his heels. A smile stretched across his face.

"Here we go T-Pup!" he said. "Another adventure!"
