Chapter One-Corsets and Catfights.
Eva blinked her eyes at the sunlight streaming in through her bedroom window, groggy, she started to wake up.
"Eva?" She heard a woman's voice, "Eva honey, it's time to get up. It's Monday, you'll be late for school!" 'Shit that's right! I gotta hurry!'
"Coming, Mom!" She yelled, quickly getting out of bed and throwing on jeans and T-shirt. Not having time to shower, Eva quickly put on some deodorant, grabbed her sweatshirt, glasses, and backpack, and ran out the door.
"Don't forget to tell your friend Cyndi that the pie her mother requested is done!""Okay Mom!" Eva yelled as she ran to catch her bus. Getting to the stop a minute before the bus came was what Eva did, it was what she had always done. The bus came, and Eva slid into the open seat in the back ignoring the snickers and weird looks from the trio of girls who made fun of her. She sighed, took off her sweatshirt and grabbed her ipod out of her bag, just wanting to lose herself in the music, have her headphones block out all the sound of everyday life. Just as the song ended Eva felt a tap on her shoulder, "What are you wearing?" A girl asked. Eva looked up, blonde hair, blue eyes, perfect body, big boobs, "Nothing Adrianna. Just some clothes." Eva looked away but Adrianna pointed to her, "No, You're wearing some weird thing…what's it called…a Corset that's it!" Adrianna looked into Eva's eyes, "Now the question is, WHY." Eva shrugged, "Maybe I felt like showing off, what, is that not allowed under your totalitarian rule of the school?" Adrianna sneered at Eva's sarcasm, "No, it's not, so take it off and put on a real shirt."
Eva flipped off Adrianna and went back to the music, planning to wear another corset tomorrow, just to piss that bitch off. Adrianna spit at Eva and walked back to her seat. Eva refused to give Adrianna what she wanted, the bitch could do whatever but Eva was determined not to let it get to her. "Just a few more weeks…" She muttered to herself, "Just a few more weeks and then I'm out of this hell hole…" Eva sighed again and kept listening to music until she reached her school, Stephen King High School. She walked off the bus and into the school, mentally preparing herself for another day with these idiots.
