Hermione walked down the stairs after the battle of Hogwarts, leaving Ron and Harry to rest in the Gryffindor common room, while Kreacher servered them delicious food stuffs.

When she arrived in the great hall she saw none other than George Weasley. He was crying over Fred. Hermione felt kind of bad for him. He had just lost his twin after all...that's a big deal. She walked over to George and patted him on the shoulder. She said:

"Hey...I know you're upset right now, but, we can give Fred a wonderful goodbye can't we?" she sort of massaged his shoulder to try to comfort him before he stopped his tears a moment to look at her.

She saw in his deep brown eyes what she had been looking for her entire life: destiney. It was then Hermione knew her and George would be lovers. She could picture it now: A pretty white house in a field, with lots of grass, and tiny kids running around. They would be married and happy forever. But that hadn't happened yet, right now she had to make him feel better. George replied: "Hermione you've always been so clever, thanks."

Hermione smiled, glad he complimented her [OH GOD I CAN FEEL GEORGIE'S SADNESS THOUGH ;AAA;]. He looked back at her, a bit shy, as he too could feel some odd emotions stirring up inside. It was very awkward, as she was pretty much Ron's wife, and not to mention his brother just died.

Dead bodies surrounded them in the great hall (which is where they were currently at). Hermione surrveyed the sceme grimly then looked back at George. Deciding to take initiative she grabbed his hand, pulled him up from where he was sitting, and began to pull him aways from Fred's corpse. (omg don't even mention how sad this is i lurve the twins T~T). She pulled him along quickly. She had a plan to make him feel better and she was for sure going to do it! So off they went to the Black Lake.

She led him to the tree that she often sat under with Harry and Ron on lazy school afternoons. "Look at the lake. It's quite calming, when you think about it." Indeed, it was, to watch the water move slowly [fuck now i want to go swimming]. George looked at Hermione, and couldn't help but do that cheesy line of pretending to look at one thing but really looking at the girl 'Yeah, very beautiful...'

The breeze came silently drifting through and lifted a lock of Hermione's hair into her face. George reached over and tucked it behind her ear. She blushed a little and smirked at him. He couldn't manage a smile but his heart was growing warmer by the second. (lololol HORGE) George said suddenly "You're an awesome girl Hermy...like really cool." "Thank you George" Hermione responded while giggling.
