A quick drabble about a Callen/Ziva relationship. Exactly 100 words without even trying.
Between the two of them, there are just so many scars. They have both been shot at and tortured. The identity issues they suffer would make any normal person run in fear. But that is what keeps them together- the knowledge that when one wakes up in the middle of the night screaming from a nightmare, the other one knows instinctively what is happening, and if their help would be appreciated and needed or not. And when Tony teases Callen about his relationship when the ninja, and when Ziva is questioned by Abby, they simply can say, "They get me."
