It was another battle with the band of seven…or the band of five. Inuyasha and his group fought against Bankotsu and his group; Inuyasha against Bankotsu, Miroku against Suikotsu, Sango against Jakotsu, Kirrara against Ginkotsu, and Kagome against Renkotsu.

"You're going to die today Bankotsu," Inuyasha said to Bankotsu while fighting him with his Tesusaiga. Bankotsu snorted. "I'm already dead you stupid puppy." Bankotsu used Banryu to attack Inuyasha but Inuyasha blocked Bankotsu's attack by using Tesusaiga. Inuyasha jumped away. "What did you just call me?" Inuyasha growled. Bankotsu only laughed at seeing how easily Inuyasha could get irritated.

Miroku could only block himself from Suikotsu's attacks. "Quit moving around," Suikotsu ordered. He lunged at Miroku with his iron claws. Miroku stopped Suikotsu's attack with his staff. "Its time for me to make my move by now," Miroku told himself. Suikotsu smirked. "Go on."

Miroku reached into his robes and pulled out two sutras. "Sacred sutras." Miroku's sutras flew towards Suikotsu. Suikotsu held out his hands and they ripped.

Miroku saw them fall to the ground. He gritted his teeth together. "I can't use my wind tunnel because they posses sacred jewel shards. Now what?"

Sango looked at Miroku knowing that he was in trouble. "I'm coming Miroku," Sango yelled, running to him.

Jakotsu ran behind Sango with his sword. "Oh no you don't." He swung his sword at Sango.

'Sango!" Kagome called. "Watch out."

Sango turned around to see Jakotsu's sword coming at her. She froze in spot.

Kirrara came and picked up Sango saving her. Sango smiled and patted her on the head. "Thank you Kirrara." She meowed and set her down. "Come on Kirrara lets go to Miroku."

Renkotsu rode on Ginkotsu. He pointed to Kagome. "Ginkotsu, kill that girl."

"Gesh."

Kagome widened her eyes.

"Miroku we're here to help."

"No. Sango go help Kagome. I'll be fine on my own."

Sango nodded.

"You're not going anywhere."

"Jakotsu."

Jakotsu smiled. "Your battle is with me."

Sang o had no choice but to fight him. "Kirrara you go to Kagome while I fight off Jakotsu."

Kirrara nodded and went to Kagome. Kagome got on her back. She took her bow and arrows and aimed at Ginkotsu and Renkotsu. Ginkotsu moved out of the way. "Ginkotsu use your metal spears," Renkotsu suggested. Ginkotsu did as he was told.

Kirrara flew in the sky to dodge the spears. One of the spears hit Kirrara in the leg. She fell to the ground with Kagome. Kagome rolled away from Kirrara to Renkotsu's dead corpsey feet after he jumped off of Ginkotsu. Kagome looked up at Renkotsu to see his gourd in his mouth. "He's going to set me on fire," Kagome realized.

Bankotsu realized this too. He ran over to Renkotsu and Kagome.

"Wait where are you going?" Inuyasha yelled.

"Brother...,"Renkotsu began.

Bankotsu put his fingers into Renkotsu's neck. He pulled out the jewel shards from it and Renkotsu turned to dust.

Kagome got up from the ground with her eyes widened.

Everyone stood there in shock.

Jakotsu broke the silence. "Bankotsu you killed Renkotsu. Why did you do that?"

"Renkotsu had been betraying us." He held out his hand to reveal five jewel shards. While everyone looked at his hand, Bankotsu looked at Kagome. "Lets retreat."

Suikotsu wasn't with the idea. "But-"

"Retreat."

Jakotsu, Ginkotsu, and Suikotsu followed after Bankotsu not wanting to go against his orders.

Inuyasha and his group watched them leave. Miroku stood next to Inuyasha. "Are you going to let them leave?"

"We'll finish this another day. Let's go."

They nodded and left.
