"Nico! What on earth possessed you to do this?"
Nico shifted uncomfortably under Persephone's stern gaze, his eyes drifting over towards the mangled and ruined garden patch. "I didn't do this, the ghost just-" He started to explain, when Persephone let out a groan of frustration and pointed towards the Underworld's exit. "You made it do that, now leave."
"But I-"
"Leave!"
Glaring at Persephone, Nico clenched his fist before turning on his heel, stalking away. He growled under his breath as he gathered the shadows around himself, the wind whipping his hair as he stumbled to a stop in front of Camp Half Blood.
Almost all of the cabins' lights were off, and only the kitchen light was on in the Big House. Wrapping his coat tighter around himself, Nico walked quietly past each of the cabins, and pushed the door to the Hades cabin in.
"Huh-?!"
His eyes went wide as Will whipped around, standing by the back wall of the cabin. A can of paint was in his hand, and black paint was speckled across his old, ragged t-shirt, and on his nose. "Uh, hey Neeks." Will grinned, rubbing one hand nervously. "I was just painting your cabin for you, 'cause it was looking a little worn... I didn't think you'd be back this early."
Nico got over his surprise of seeing Will in his cabin and shrugged. "Persephone kicked me out, cause she thought I possessed some ghost to eat her flowers." He mumbled, walking over and collapsing onto his bed. "I honestly have no idea why the ghost did it."
Will laughed, walking over and sitting beside Nico. "Maybe he was hungry."
Nico shook his head, a small smile playing at the corner of his lips. "Thanks for painting the cabin... You probably should go, though. I don't think Chiron would be excited to find us together alone." He frowned, rolling over onto his side so he could look at Will.
"Hey, the rule is that a boy and a girl can't be alone together." Will wiggled his eyebrows at him, laughing when Nico punched him lightly on the arm. "'Sides, Percy'n Annabeth are always together in their cabins. Who knows what they're doing."
"Please don't give me mental images."
"Fine, fine." Will lay down behind Nico, letting out a long breath and wrapping his arm around Nico's body, pulling him closer. "I missed you."
Nico smiled faintly, grabbing Will's hand and holding it in place. "I missed you too."
"You could always just stay at camp, y'know?" Will suggested, his breath hot on the back of Nico's neck. "Chiron wouldn't mind, you've even got your own cabin."
Nico shook his head, rolling over so he was facing Will. "Yeah, I know. It just feels weird, though. It always feels like everyone's staring at me... And besides, I'd miss travelling."
"Fine... But someday, you're going to stay at camp with me." Will ordered, leaning in and kissing Nico's lips. "Love you, Neeks."
"Love you too, Will." Nico mumbled, snuggling into Will as they both fell asleep.
