The Picture in the Bedroom

Two children were talking of Narnia and the lot,
Glad to be away from their mundane uncle and aunt.
When the terrible cousin Scrubb,
Ruined their chat and annoyed an equally frustrated Edmund (anything to do with Eustace probably would have annoyed Edmund).

Then foolish young Eustace dove for the painting of the ship,
And tried to destroy it but only succeeded in going for a dip.
In frigid icy water, he swam and he swam,
Until he was rescued by unknown hands.

A reunite between his cousins and a [so called] king,
While neglecting him.
Grumpily he stomped and pouted,
Especially when the foot tall mouse greeted his dear, dear family,
Like nobility and with courtesy.
