True Friend
Riku sat on the tree that gave a wonderful view of the ocean surrounding the Destiny Islands. He sighed a little as the sun set, giving the place a comforting, warm glow.
"What's wrong, Riku?" came a voice.
Riku startled a little and turned, seeing Sora smiling at him.
"Oh Sora...it's nothing."
"You sure?" Sora asked, walking and standing by him.
"It's just...do I truly belong here?"
"What do you mean?"
"Sora...I gave into the darkness. I did things I'm not proud of. We fought and there was nothing I could do about it. I couldn't even face you at times. I should have stayed in the realm of darkness, that's where I belong"
Sora just smiled at his best friend "You belong here, Riku. You always have"
"How?"
"You gave into the darkness in order to help me get my memories back. You took a risk to help all of us. You saved me from Xemnas. There's nothing to be sad about. It took a lot of courage to do that"
Riku smiled a little as the night cast onto the islands "You...really think?"
Sora nodded "Riku...you're a true friend and always will be. Come on, we better get back or Kairi will start to worry"
Sora turned away and started to walk from the bridge
"Hey Sora?"
"Yeah?"
"Thank you"
