Notes: I like the climax moment at the end of the film, with Storm's words. It's... inspiring. Heh.

Faith.

She treated him differently, like a human being. There was something in her eyes that made him feel better about himself, as if she were trying to tell him she understood. It wouldn't be until much more later that he would find out why.

She really understood what he meant, what he felt.

She had been a Goddess once, heard the prayers and the demands of a whole tribe, carried the weight of divine justice on her shoulders, when she was nothing more than a child. She knew the power of Faith. She understood what his faith meant to him, how it could guide him blind through his life, with the promise of a better future.

In return, he felt saddened by her faithless life, the way she had been betrayed so much she refused to let herself believe in anything else, or so she told herself. He wanted to show her, wanted her to feel again, to allow herself the right to wish, to will... to feel.

He wants her to mean her words, to make it true. He wants her to have faith in him, just as much as he has faith in her.
