Dipper trailed the halls of the dormitories looking for room number 429, the halls were full of unfamiliar strangers trudging along with their suitcases into their rooms, some of which left their doors open so that dipper could faintly hear what they were talking about.Every room had at least two or three people which dipper found strange that is until he realised that he was going to have a roommate, dipper facepalmed himself for forgetting and hoped to god that his roommates was not an irritating gossip machine or a self-centered jock but most of all he hoped that it was someone he could get along with or at least have a reasonable conversation with. Dipper had almost reached the end of the hallway , on the other side was his room, he took a deep breath and headed into his room, nobody was there at the moment
"maybe they went to the bathroom"
Dipper started unpacking on the side of the room that hadn't already been claimed by him roommates stuff and then a sudden thud came from the door
"who're you and what do you think you're doing in my room!?"
the voice startled the brunette, his heartbeat getting louder and louder, his entire body was flinching in the process. he slowly turned his head around to see who it was, above Dipper stood a blonde 6 foot man
"you're a freshman right? i was supposed to get a roommate in the same year as me so what are you doing here?"
"i was just told that i was supposed to stay in this room, i don't know why I'm sharing a room with you so please don't blame me"
"wait here I'm going to go check with the office to see if something went wrong"
he stormed out of the room and you could still hear his heavy footsteps even when he reached the end of the corridor
15 minutes later*
i could hear those same heavy footprints coming down the corridor he was coming back and then suddenly the door swung open
"did they say anything about it?"
"they said that they mixed you up with another kid but it's too late to change it now so you'll have to bear with it for the rest of the year"
"okay then, I'm Dipper by the way"
"I'm Bill it's nice to meet you"
