A Joke
"Star! We're gonna be late!" yelled Toki up the stairs. " Okay! Le me just get
my bag!" she yelled back as she ran down the stairs. "How. . .much. . . time.."
she said as she panted. "An hour till school starts." said Toki. "Lets get going
then." said Star. Everyday before school, they went for a walk. Their school
was fairly close, but they liked to take their time. They always walked
through the forest, before school. They would say to people, it helped they
get through the day. They were walking through a darker part of the forest.
"Hi, Sage." said Toki. "How did you know I was there?" Sage asked as he
jumped down from a tree. "How'd ya' find us?" Star asked so Toki didn't have
to answer. "I was taking a walk before school." he said. "I guess you can
walk with us then." said Toki. "Why are you guy's here anyways?" he asked.
"We walk to school this way every day." said Star. "Do you?" "No, I just
wanted to take a different way to school today, I guess." he said. " Then why
were you sneaking up on us then?" she asked again. "No reason," he said, " I
thought it would be fun." he said smugly. "Is that so," Star said. "Hey, why
are you two so serious today?" he asked as he walked in front a little. Toki
and Star laughed with each other, but not so Sage could hear. "What do you
mean?" asked Star trying not to laugh. "Stop." he said. "Why?" asked Toki.
"Never mind." he said. " So, hows school?" asked Star. "It's all right, and
you?" he asked. "Good." she said. "Hey where's Toki?" he asked. "Toki? She
wasn't with us." she said. " She wasn't?" he asked confused. "She wasn't."
"Are you sure Toki wasn't with us?" he asked again. "Toki? whose Toki?"
asked Star trying not to laugh. "Are you sure you don't know a Toki?" he
asked. "Nope. I've never heard that name ever." she said trying so hard not to
laugh. "Are you positive?" he asked. "Positive? Positive about what?" "Toki?"
"Yaahhh." she said smartly. "Wheres Star?" he asked by now he was a bit
freaked out. "Whose Star?" Toki asked acting confused. "what?" "What,
what?" asked Star. "What the, but toki. . . and then. . ." "Whose Toki?" Star
said like he was crazy. ". . ." he just stood there with his mouth open. The
justed walked in silence. Sage, trying to figured out what was happening. And
Star, trying not to giggle. They were almost to school and, out of the forest:
"We meet again, Sage of the Halo." croaked a voice rather similar to
Schmets. "Star stay back!" he yelled trying to protect her. All the while she
was trying not to laugh. He transformed in to his sub-armor. "Dais?!?" he
yelled. This made Star laugh even more. "Dais!?! Dais?!? This Is not Dais!!!!
It's Sckemet!!! SCH-MET!!!!!" yelled Toki jumping out of a tree. "Toki? That
was YOU?" he asked confused as ever. "Yah, didn't you just see me say
that?" she asked bewildered. "Yah, I did." he said. "I've got you now Halo!"
yelled Schemet. "Toki?!" said Sage annoyed at them game they played on
him. "Okay, THAT was not me." she said freaked out. "Cale?" he said
timidly. "NO! Schemet!! You dolt!!!" Schemet jumped down, and took his
helmet off. " My Name Is SCHEMET! Get it! S-C-H-E-M-E-T!!!!" he
screamed @ Sage. "Whoa! Dude! Put that sucker back on, You're Ugly-butt
face! Something's just shouldn't be looked at!" yelled Toki before she could
think. "What? You think I'm ugly???" "YESSS!!!!!" yell Star still giggly. "I-
I'm ugly?" he said shaking his head as he walked away. "That was easy."
Sage said confused. "Yah, well what ya' gonna do? Go after him? Lets get to
school before we get in trouble." said Star shrugging her shoulders.
