Once It's All Over
By IGottaHaveYaLikeAbracadabra

Brianna sat at the edge of the water. Her eyes shone and glistened with fresh tears that hadn't fallen yet. It was her graduation day and she wasn't quite ready to give up the freedom of Hogwarts. But she had to face the real world at some point and today was the first step of the journey. All of a sudden she felt two strong arms grabbed her neck. She swung round to find herself met with two deep brown pools of hope. Well, as close as she was going to get. He held her waist and pulled her closer to him. He kissed her forehead gently and wiped her eyes as she looked into his it's all over…

"What happens when once this is all over, James. What am I going to do when I leave Hogwarts? What if nobody wants to employ me?" She said, the tears falling onto James' pale blue shirt and onto her pale pink dress.

"Bri, look at me!" He demanded and aligned his girlfriends face to his.

"I have some prepositions to make. Whether you accept them or not is completely your choice. Firstly, me and Fred have opened a wizard photo studio and we want you to come and work with us. What do you say?" James replied wiping the tears from Brianna's eyes.

"Oh, I would love to! What else do you need to ask me?" She asked.

"Walk with me, Bri. We've got plenty of time." He said as she took her hand and followed him into the building.

"Close your eyes, sweetie" He said softly guiding her to their destination. He led her up some stairs and through, what appeared to be a door. He sat her down on a chair and prepared himself for the worst.

"Open your eyes, hunny" and she did as he said. When she opened them she found James at her feet. On one knee.

"I know were both young but I know that you are, and always will be, the only girl for me. I've shared things with you, that I will never tell anyone else. You are the only one who fully understands me. The real me, not the son-of-the-boy-who-lived me. And through all the good times, and the rough times, you are the one thing that's helped me pull through. I love you with all my heart, that's why I'm asking this. Brianna Poppy Longbottom, will you marry me." Please say yes, please. He thought.

"Oh my god. A thousand times yes!"
