I should leave. Ace rested a hand over his tired eyes to keep out the morning sun creeping over the sill. His intention had been not to fall asleep in the first place, but that was out of his control. Smoker apparently hadn't minded. Ace moved carefully, keeping his gaze away from the sleeping Marine. Leaving was easier if he pretended to be alone.
"Where do you think you're going?" A heavy arm encircled his waist, dragging him back toward the center of the mattress. Ace smiled; Smoker had been awake, and his reasons to leave just flew out the window.
