*Akira's POV*

"Hurry up Akira, we have to meet up with Kakashi," Sasuke yelled as he knocked on my bedroom door.

I opened the door annoyed "Okay, okay, I'm ready. We can go now."

Both of us arrived at the training grounds in five minutes. Naruto and Sakura were already there waving at us both, Kakashi arrived shortly after. As usual he had his nose stuck in a book, and I wondered if he really read it or if it was just for show.

"I have a mission to do this week," Kakashi never put his book down as he spoke "So you'll have no training, have fun, see you kids later."

"Who wants ramen?" Naruto asked as Kakashi left.

Sasuke and Sakura shook their heads. I touched my stomach, Sasuke made me leave before I had a chance to eat.

"Sure, I'm hungry," I smiled.

Naruto and I left for Ichiraku, his favorite ramen shop. After lunch I went to the outskirts of Konoha village to watch the clouds go by in peace. I wasn't laying down for more than ten minutes when I heard a few large bangs. Sitting up I saw puffs of black smoke coming from the village. I jumped up ready to run down and help protect the village when I heard a rustle in the bushes around me.

"Who's there?" I asked expecting a squirrel to jump out.

Three people and one shark man all wearing black cloaks with red clouds came out around me. I recognized the cloaks immediately and felt a tinge of fear go through me.

"Akatsuki," I whispered, out loud I asked "What do you freaks want?"

"Watch your mouth," the shark man seemed to have a short temper.

"Kisame," the red head warned "Remember the mission."

"Mission?" I whispered again.

"Wow, you're a real piece of art," a voice spoke in my ear behind me "I say we keep her."

"Do what you wish," a cold familiar voice spoke.

Before I could turn around to see who was talking, I was knocked out. I woke up on the floor of a dark cave. My head was pounding but I had no time to recover, there was a sound just to the right of where I was. My body tensed not knowing what or who to expect.

"Get up," that same voice who called me a piece of art grabbed my arm "Our leader wants to talk to you."

I could see that the one nearly dragging me to his leader has blond hair and a blue eye, the other one has a camera covering it, while his hands have little months on them. He tossed me into a new room, it was also dark but a man with metal on his face walked up to me.

"I'm the leader of the Akatsuki, Pein," he said "You are now going to be a member of the Akatsuki. Your partners will be Deidara and Sasori."

"There is no way I'm being part of this freak show," I wasn't planning on being nice, my instant reaction is to be scared.

"Then I guess we'll have to kill you," he smirked, fear shot through me stronger then ever.

"You don't give me much of a choice," I crossed your arms in a huff looking at the ground.

"That's the point Akira Ronta," his smirk got larger "Your partners are outside waiting for you."

I left Pein's room, unhappy, to see Deidara and Sasori waiting for me. The blond and red head that came to the village starred at me. I had to figure a way out of this.

'Well at least they're cute,' I thought 'I wonder if I can play these losers and get home to my friends.'

"So you're Akira, hm, you look weak," Sasori said scaling me up and down "Follow me."

I followed Sasori and could feel Deidara's eyes on me as I walked down the hall. It was the last room on the left, Sasori opened the door and my mouth dropped in surprise as I walked in. The room was organized and clean. On one wall was two single beds and another wall had a couple of desks. The only sources of light came from three glass covered holes for windows in the ceiling leading out to the cave roof. There was a hole above the middle of each bed, and one in the middle of the desks.

"You'll be introduced to the other Akatsuki members when they come in for a drink," Sasori warned "You can stay if you want. Though this is where you'll be sleeping; there are no more rooms left."

"As you can see," Deidara came up behind me wrapping his arm around my waist "There are only two beds, so you'll have to share with one of us."

I smirked at his comment, he was going to be an easy target, then looked up through the middle hole to see the stars in the dark sky. There was a knock on the door, I removed Deidara's arm from my waist before the other members entered the room.

"This is Itachi, Kisame, Zetsu, Kakuzu, Hidan, and Tobi," Sasori introduced each member as they came in "This is Akira, she's the newest Akatsuki member."

I gave a little nod to each member then disappeared through the middle hole; I listened in on their conversation. Being in their presence was the last thing I wanted. I did wonder if any one in the village noticed I was gone. It also crossed my mind to leave now, but I didn't know where I was or which direction the village was in so I had to bide my time.

"So what is Akira like?" Kisame asked.

"To be honest, we don't know," Sasori responded "She's not talking."

"But she does have one hot body," Deidara said.

I threw a stone down and hit Deidara on the forehead. He fell out of his chair and everyone laughed. Simple entertainment.

"She seems really familiar to me," Itachi murmured.

'He hasn't completely forgotten me,' I thought lying down and closing my eyes "Itachi Uchiha, why?"

*Flashback*

I was standing in the middle of the forest with my eyes closed; I jumped up and threw eight kunai knives, then landed back on the ground gracefully to open my eyes.

"Akira!" I turned around to see Sasuke and Itachi coming towards me.

"That was amazing Akira!" Sasuke complemented "You hit every target, even the hidden ones; you're as good as Itachi."

"Thank you Sasuke," I smiled sweetly "What are you two doing?"

"We're here to train," Sasuke was very excited.

"This is my favorite spot to train," I explained "May I stay to watch?"

"Sure," Itachi kissed my forehead "Will you be my wife?" he whispered in my ear.

My face turned red, I was 10 and he was 14, there was an age difference. He didn't wait for a response; Itachi started training with me and Sasuke watching in awe. Sasuke and I are the same age, I admired Itachi but thought his question was a little out of line.

*End Flashback*

I woke up with a start rubbing my eyes and growled at the memory. The guys in the room were drunk off their asses and were acting stupid. I watched Itachi for a little while; he was the only one who looked tipsy not drunk. He looked up at the hole, catching a glimpse at me, I blushed and backed away. It took a while for me to fall asleep, at least the stars kept me company, and they are always so beautiful it calms me.
