Emma is 14
Michael is 10
Brandon is 7
Sebastian is 3
Haley is 1
"Please tell me I don't have to go around the kingdom using this again, mother?" Emma begged as Snow entered her room that morning "It is actually torture that you make us wear this robes"
"They are not robes Emma" Snow said placing a hand on her daughter's cheek "It is a dress"
"Couldn't we just go hunting?" the teenager pleaded effortlessly as the servant helped her into the gown.
"Go ahead and try that on your father" Snow said mockingly "See how it goes"
"Well, boys don't have to suffer like we do" Emma said rolling her eyes "They have it so much easier"
"Well my dear" Emma raised an eyebrow when her mother leaned to kiss her cheek "That is why women are stronger than men"
"I would love for Father to hear you say that about him and his precious boys" Emma said huskily "That would really make him…"
"I said we were stronger" Snow said firmly "They just don't know how much"
*OUAT*
"I don't like these fancy clothes!" Brandon said scratching his neck "They are itchy! Papa can we just wear our regular clothes?"
"I'm afraid you can't Bran" James said kneeling at his son's level "We need to look presentable; we are there to represent the people of the Kingdom"
"I just like my own clothes better" The youngster said. James smiled sweetly
His father said "Don't worry, after this is over, I promise you, we will go to the range, just you and me"
"I want to go to the range too" Michael said as he walked into the room and straight to the mirror "Can I go too?"
"Yes" James said. His son's eyes lighted up "But I need for you to behave today, this is a very important day, and many of our friends will be there, I need you to be good boys"
"I believe that is probably too much to ask coming from them" Emma said as she was shortly joined by her mother in the boy's room. She shot her brothers a disapproving look.
"If I remember correctly" Brandon said indignantly "You almost burned down the stables last time" James and Snow shared a grin as Emma turned red.
"Yes, you did cause trouble" Brandon continued "If I were Mother and Father I would be keeping a better eye on you"
"Shut up" Emma said. Her brother, her seven year old brother was the most intelligent kid she knew. Although it was hard for her to admit. Then there was Michael. She had wondered why it had taken her parents so long to have another kid after she was born. She remembered asking them time and time again. Now she regretted it.
"The kiddies are ready" Grumpy said joining the family with baby Haley in his arms and young Sebastian in tow "Although I don't recall being a babysitter fell under the job description" Snow and James smiled. This was going to be a good day.
