Watching The Flames

The sky glows orange and black

Flames flicker through the air

A girl watches with dark brown eyes

And short lavender hair

Her eyes are filled with sorrow

A tear falls from her face

As she watches the flames consume the corpse,

Her heart begins to race

The corpse was once her foster parent

A father she never had.

But an organization took him away

And changed him from good to bad

The young ninja knew what she had to do

And left to look for him

She fought her way through many fights

And knew the result was grim

She met her father face to face

Flames circled left and right

Both engaged in final combat

Crys echoed through the night

The young girl was the victor

Her father ceased to move

She knew it had to be done

Or her leader would dissaprove

The ninja turned from her father's

Memories stirred in her head

She whispers "Father, rest in peace."

As the sky dims to red.

I admit it's not as long as my other poem, but I'm just lazy today. Please Read and Review. :)
