21:50 Hours, MI6 HQ, Britain

It was any ordinary night at MI6. Defused X number of bombs, foiled X number of terrorist's plots. The usual. The night shift was starting and everyone exchanged, going home for the next 6 hours to sleep. But M stayed. He always stays. It wasn't unusual, but it was odd.

M had been monitoring the cloning experiment, run by Q. Q had always held up on his promise to finish things on time and with good results. Now was no exception. The tanks bubbled away, carefree and… happy I guess. Q motioned M down, happy with his success.

M was more pleased with Q than ever. The 'Bond Project' was completed. The idea behind it is that, with so many agents dying and all, they decided to start cloning the lil' buggers.

"Q, this is quite extraordinary." M said, blissfully aware of the situation. "We have broken the bounds of humanity and created this. All to avoid having to find living people."

"M," Q ushered. "You should probably know that it isn't perfect, as every specimen will look different and we could not find a way around it."

"No matter. As long as they look like human beings we will be find." M began walking back to his office. "Just make sure he doesn't destroy everything within five seconds of touching."

And with that, Q began the first lot of clones and, as the sixth tank filled, knew he was in for something he would regret forever.
