I'm weird...
I am sooo silly. I just couldn't resist writing thisvery short fic. The idea for itwas born on a plane flight with me being half asleep and half awake, this beautiful state where reality and fiction mix to become something horribly funny g

Rose poked the little squid like alien "So, what is it? It's not related to the Daleks is it?"
"No, no, no, no, Dalek, uuuh!" the little red squid thing was shaking under her fingers.
"Rose, don't upset him," the Doctor sighed and squatted down next to Rose on the console room floor.
"Must have sneaked on board while we were on Mars."
"Maaaaars. Yipyipyipyipyip!" was the answer from the little creature.
"What is it then, Doctor?"
"That, my dear Rose, is a Yipyip." The Doctor grinned when the Yipyip confirmed that with another of his high pitched yipyip-chants.
Rose smiled "Could have worked THAT name out for myself." She picked the little fuzzy creature up and cradled it like a puppy. "It's so cute! Can I keep it?"
"No, you can't keep it. These things get into even more trouble than humans do. Terrible pets. Had one once, it almost got killed when it decided to befriend a polar bear. And a lion... and a Cyberman... and various other dangerous or sharp objects we encountered. I took it home after some time. A TARDIS is no place for suchnaive creatures. This one'll be happier on Mars as well. "
"Maaarrs, yipyipyip." The Yipyip took a sudden leap and landed on the Doctor's head. Rose couldn't stifle a giggle because of the red fuzzy wig the Doctor seemed to wear now.
"See? I think it came in to see if the console would be his new pal. They are like that, you know? Not very bright, no clue what's going on in the universe, but very nice."
The blue box vanished shortly afterwards in the light of a mauve dawn on the slopes of Olympus Mons. Shortly after the strange noise of the engines had died down, a little red octopus was all that was leftstanding there on the crimson soil.
There was a little sigh from the Yipyip when it decided to go home, to some cave in the vicinity. His brothers would be very interested in the things he saw today. There was something that resembled a giggle when it mumbled "Tiiiime Loooord... yipyipyipyipyip."
