They are wrong, pretty wrong.

He's not dense,he just simply doesn't care for things that are of no interest to him. Tennis he loves. One of the few things he really cares about and means something to him.

So it's no surprise that the first time they met he didn't pay her any mind. (She gave him the wrong directions anyway.)

She's the coach's granddaughter. She's always there cheering him and the tennis team on. and always comes to watch their every match, supporting them during practice.

She's clumsy (oddly cute), so very shy and her hairs too long (that has he's hands itching to touch).

Ryuuzaki Sakuno.

And she somehow has a bit of his interest.

It wasn't until he was 14 that he started to realize what she truly meant to him.

To him she's different. The only girl he cares for (and his mom and his cousin). He considered her his. Truly she was his and only his.

He knew what everyone was hinting at. She liked him, admired him. Cared a great deal for him. He could see it the way she is around him. The blushes are never ending. (his smirk is a little smug there)

It was the first time in his life he'd felt like that. For months afterwards, he can't help playing with bit more energy (he knows she is watching him play).

He made sure to leave hints of his own for her.

He's 15 the first time he kisses her. Their on the roof top eating the lunch she made. It's sudden (he wanted to do that for a while now). There's no annoying senpai-tachi to interrupt them. She's shocked first and the blushing soon follows. He grins the whole time.

Their relationship feels right, like the last piece of puzzle complete.

When the tennis club gets the wind of this new development its chaos (senpai-tachi are too noisy). They tell him not to mess it up. He's not gonna mess it up (not with her). She already means so much to him. The thought of losing her is unwanted.

Love.

That's what she makes him feel for her. She is his and he is hers.

Between tournaments, club practices he made sure to always have time for her. Never forgetting to shower her with his affection.

He loves the effect he has on her. Her blushes are his alone to adore.

He liked winning. Liked playing tennis. Going against the best of the best, giving it his all. He knows she loves watching him play tennis (he liked that she did). Him winning even more. Never missing any of his match's. His victory felt sweeter. She makes him feel no.1.

She is always patient with him. Even when he sometimes gets overly possessive and protective of her. (She belongs to him).

He loves her, wants her, and needs her.

Their forever and he is never letting go. The years together with her are his best. She makes him happy.

Now gazing down at his women laying against him, deep love and affection filled him along with a familiar sense of possession, a feeling which came with an echoing calmness. He smirks kissing her hair line as he inhales her scent.

Life's good.
