There was something about him, something she couldn't quite place her finger on. She pondered for some time, she couldn't be falling in love with Greg, could she?
He was a few years younger than her, it wasn't right. He needed somebody of his own age, not some old woman like her. And besides, he wasn't in love with her, was he?
Anyway, now that she convinced herself she couldn't be with him she went back to work. She bowed down over the evidence table when she felt somebody's presence in the room. Slowly she looked to the side and saw him standing there.
He grinned at her: "What got you so zoned out just yet?"
She didn't hear the question, she just looked at his face. 'That's it… his ears, they're so… cute.' That was a word she hated, but there was just no other way to describe them… They were cute.
"Earth to Sara…" His voice was close to her ear and she could feel his breath on the skin.
She blushed when she turned to him. 'Maybe I was wrong, maybe he does like me.'
He then leaned forward and caught her in a lip-lock, causing her stomach to make flip-flops. 'Screw age.'
