Froth; second in command of the Orisami clan. also Rhoe's uncle.
Belgi; medic of the Orisami clan.
Foreseith; third in command in the Horototso clan, Rhoe's father. The half brother of Froth.
Solarflare; the weapons merchant for both clans, good friend of both clan leaders. also the guardian of Rhoe's family household.
Syren; the bird that kills any intruders who come to rob Rhoe's living space.
Tazra; the pet dog of Rhoe, also her care taker/ protector when no adults are present.
Cazer; Rhoe's pet turtle with orange eyes. species is unknown. it is not known what he eats.
Frag; The frog in the garden that lives in between rocks and likes eating fingers, according to Rhoe. Though no one has seen this frog it has been heard chirping at night. even in the winter.
Legless; the war veteran who is also Rhoes adoptive uncle.
Neighbor bullet man; the man next door who owns guns. has black hair with a farmers hat. bad temper.
Poopsie; Rhoes older adoptive brothers nickname. Given by none other than the notorious Rhoe herself.
i walked down the street, towards school, i stopped and looked up at a stop sign. The symbol engraved on it was a warning to those who knew what it meant. a boy with black hair and yellow eyes. He stood beside me with a hateful look on his face. we both looked forward.
"It is a pitty that your sensei let a mere child take his place."
"Watch your mouth, his successor is far more powerful than you ever were. and if i were you, i would hold my tongue."
"Is that a threat mutt?"
"You wanna see for yourself?"
"Froth?" i stopped and looked at the little girl, her eyes orange with green around the outside of the eye instead of white.
"This is no time for a fight in front of a child."
"I will see you later." He said. he turned and walked away, then stopped and looked at us.
"You realize that one day the truth will be revealed, don't you? It won't stay dormant for long, you know that as well as everyone else. She is a living time bomb, Froth, one false move and it could be all over." he turned around and morphed into a wolf. I felt a small hand clutch my arm.
"Wow! Will i be able to morph too Froth?" she asked. I bent down on one knee.
"Little one, you can't stay with me, it is too dangerous." Tears fell down my cheeks.
"Why?" she asked. i hugged her.
"You may not understand much right now, but one day all your qustions will be answered. You hold a great gift, little one, do not use it for evil. No matter what someone says, you are far more capable than what they expect. believe in yourself, never lose sight of the truth, and your ancesters will guide you to places no mortal has ever stepped foot into." i picked her up and left her on the step of a house.
"Stay here." i said as i walked away.
"Froth? Froth come back! Froth! don't leave me!" she cried.
"It is for the best little dragon."
