To Be Noted: I consider the Jurassic Park movies and the game as canon. The books were written by Ian Malcolm in universe. There is also some profanity in this story.
Jurassic Park: Aftermath
Prolouge
Biosyn's last attempt at trying to steal dinosaur DNA failed, but they did not give up. In fact, they got an idea from Malcolm himself, who, in his book, replaced Hammond's nephew with Dodgson, the now CEO of Biosyn. As of now, Dodgson was planning an expedition to Sorna himself. Of course he wouldn't go himself, as that would be-as Dodgson would put it-an unwise and idiotic decision.
So Dodgson hired enough mercenaries to rival a small army. In total there were 500 mercs, led by James Sozda, the best of the best. On the night of March 6th, Sozda and his men were sent to Sorna. This is what happened next…
Chapter One
"Not again."
For the past seven nights, Sozda had been kept awake by the sounds of the dinosaurs on the island. The unworldly bellows were more frightening than anything he'd ever faced before. The moment Jim and his men had reached the island, 50 of them were slaghtered. No one was prepared for the horrifying things on this island.
As they had landed on shore, a tyrannosaur totaled a helicopter, killing six men and injuring four. and once everyone escaped into the forest, they were hunted by Velociraptors for three nights. They'd lost ten men to the raptors. Once they'd gotten away from those, they'd had a nasty runin with a Baryonyx, and two men were injured. As they moved down the river a group of Suchomimus killed two men and injured five. Thinking they were safe, they set up camp and were attacked by a Metriacanthosaurus. Three had died there. Finally, on the sixth night, a flock of Pteranodon killed 24 people and injured 15. Sozda had led his men into the deep jungle, where, according to the paleontologist that had been brought along, should be clear of predators. But now Jim was beginning to doubt the scientist's theory.
"Never thought I'd trust a boffin," Jim thought to himself. "looks like things are gonna have to change."
"Jim," whispered Kathie, Jim's wife. She was a merc too, and was one of the mercs injured by the Tyrannosaurus.
"Yeah?" he whispered back.
"You think Chelsea is gonna be okay?"
Chelsea was Kathie's little sister, and she had come to the island as well, leading her own squad of mercs. They had gone scouting for the night.
"I'm sure she'll be fine, honey." Jim replied.
All of a sudden, Chelsea and two of her squadmates ran through the trees into camp.
"RUN!" she shouted through clenched teeth. Behind her a huge herd of Triceratops came crashing through the trees. They decimated everything in their path, and smashed the tents and trucks into pieces and trampled the weapons depot, setting guns and grenades of and killing themselves along with some of the mercs. By the time all the mercs got to safety on the beach 11 were dead and five missing.
