One night, at the Muppet Theater, Kermit was holding auditions. The first was a quartet of rock singing flagpoles. Their names were Sam, Murray, Anthony and Jeff.
"I'm sorry, but I do not allow singing flagpoles. Next!" said Kermit.
Gonzo came up.
"Gonzo? What are you doing here?" said Kermit.
"I have a new act tonight," said Gonzo.
"Let me guess. Is it dancing on the highway with a camel dressed as a pirate to the tune of "Running Bear"?" said Kermit.
"Nope. It's a 100-character speech," said Gonzo.
"I was planning on doing that," said Fozzie.
"Why not a jam session?" said Dr. Teeth.
"Or a treasure hunt?" said Mad Monty.
"Or nothing at all?" said Waldorf.
"That would be a great idea!" said Statler.
They both laughed.
"This is going to be a long night," said Kermit.
