Smoke watched as Sub Zero slept. He looked so calm, so serene. A blush spread on Smoke's cheeks as he looked at those wet parted pinkish lips.

"Jsi hezká..." he said, poking his shoulder. As he spoke, he came close to Sub Zero's face.

Sub Zero's pale blue eyes began to open, and then they grew wide at how close Smoke was to him. Smoke's blush grew deeper and he tried to pull away, but Sub Zero took his hand into his, stopping him.

"Tomas, what are you doing?" he asked. Smoke looked away, his entire face red, hiding it in his silvery hair.

"You said something while I slept." Sub Zero said. "I..I said...I...was trying to wish you good morning." he said. Sub Zero gave him the "bullshit" look and said,"Tomas." "Honest!" Smoke yelled.

"You look so cute when you blush." Sub Zero said with a smile. "I-I do not!" Smoke yelled. "Shh..do you want anyone to hear you?" Sub Zero said, placing his finger on his lip. Smoke gasped and tried to hide again. Sub Zero laughed and said,"Si hesku.."

Smoke's jaw dropped and he turned away with another blush. It might as well have been permanent. But he had to laugh at the mispronunciation as well. "That's not how you say it. Here, say it with me... J-si...hezká.." Smoke said, his voice breaking due to his bashfulness.

Sub Zero looked at him and said,"Jsi hezká." Ok, maybe his pronunciation still needs work, but at least he got the words right. Smoke smiled and said,"Líbíš se mi."

"Wǒ yě ài nǐ" Sub Zero said with a smile. Smoke looked at him, confused. Still, he knew it must have meant something nice. He screamed in surprise when he found himself taken into Sub Zero's arms, and snuggled. Smoke lay his head on his friend's chest and said,"I want to teach you another phrase."

Sub Zero entwined his hand through his and said,"Ok, shoot." "Say...milácku." "M...Ma...la..kshu?" Sub Zero asked. Smoke shook his head. "No, milácku..try it again." "Mi...la...choo." Sub Zero said. Smoke laughed and said,"No, say it slowly. Milácku."

"What does it mean?" Sub Zero asked. "I'm not telling you until you say it." Smoke said with a wink. Sub Zero groaned and said,"Ah, come on!" Smoke shook his head. "Alright...let's try again.." Sub Zero said, looking into his lilac eyes. "Milácku.." he added, slowly.

"Yes!" Smoke said, with a wide smile. "Now tell me what it means." Sub Zero said. "It means 'sweetheart'" Smoke replied. "And the other one?" Sub Zero said. Smoke blushed and said,"Dej mi pusu..." Sub Zero laughed and said,"Now what does that one mean?"

Smoke laughed. That was one he'd keep to himself.

Czech is not my language of expertise, so please forgive me if I misspell anything. Did I get anything right? I used a google search and I found a website that helped, or at least I hope it did.
