Max's POV:
I was sitting with my best friend Jamie and her boyfriend Eric in the library drinking a coffee when the siren went off for lockdown. Everyone went straight to the hall. I was almost in there when I saw Ari. Well shit. I still went in thinking I was seeing things. "Why are we in lockdown Jamie?" Oh and did I mention she and Eric know about my wing but not how I got them. I was wearing a tank-top, leather jacket and ripped jean. I got a tattoo of a wolf on my right side of my waist and a tattoo of my wings on the back off my neck.
"I don't know but the principal is going to tell us what is happening." She finishes as the principal walked on the stage.
"Ok student I need you to be calm about this but there are wolf human things running around and attacking people." Fuck fuck fuck. I wasn't seeing things. "The police are on their way. Any questions?" I put my hand up along with other student. Someone asked what they are, where they came from and why they are here. "I don't know where, what or why they are here. Max?"
"Those things are called Erasers, they came from a place in Death Valley and the reason why they are here is probably to kill me."
"This is not a time to play around Maximum."
"And I am not playing around. They are experiments just like me. Shit I let that slip." Just then the door burst. And there stood Ari and Jeb. I scowled and shrugged my jacket off and let that fall on the floor. "What do you want Ari and Jeb?" I sneered.
