Here are some Taang one-word descriptions. Please forgive me if that's not what it's called. First one is modern time but the others are not. I don't own avatar, and if I did you would have seen Taang.
Awkward
There is always an awkward moment between Aang and Toph when they're alone. Like when they were left alone in a room and the song "Birthday Sex" came on. To make it even more awkward, it was Toph's birthday.
Sleep
When Aang thought Toph was sleeping, he would give her a sweet kiss on the lips and say "goodnight my love". Little did he know, Toph was awake every time.
Stare
Aang couldn't help but stare at her whenever she walked by. Could she really be that beautiful?
Gone
He sat alone and waited for her to return. It ached in his heart for her not to be next to him. He laid his head on his knees, drowning in his long lasting pain. He was nearing tears when she finally came. He threw himself on her. "Toph your back! You have no idea how much I missed you."("Uh, Aang I was only gone for 10 minutes.")
Kiss
Their first kiss was nerve racking, sloppy and inexperienced. They wouldn't trade it for anything in the world.
Butterflies
Every time Toph was around Aang she would get this weird feeling in her stomach. I felt as if there were little creatures flying around in there. When she told this to Sokka he just laughed. "That's called love, Toph."
Love
Toph never knew what love meant until she met Aang.
Letter
Aang thought writing a love letter to Toph would be the best way to tell her how he feels about her. Forgetting an important fact he gives her the letter. Ouch. I'm not going to go into the details but lets just say this. ("Never give a blind girl a letter when they're PMSing")
Tips
Why does Aang even listen to Sokka's dating tips? He should know that Sokka is an idiot by now? And yet he still tries out the tips and ends up getting himself earthbended across Ba Sing Se. When will he ever learn?
