A/N: This idea originated from NightFury999. After reading so many of watching the movie fanfics I always wanted to do my own. I noticed that I could never get any details or dialog right so I decided to make up my own. Hope you enjoy!
DunBroch
Merida just shot an arrow that blasted through the other arrow. When suddenly a portal swooped them all in.
Berk
Hiccup had just been chosen to kill the deadly Monstrous Nightmare, when suddenly a portal sucked them all in.
Corona
Gothel just left the tower to get Rapunzel's white paint and Flynn and the Stabbington Brothers just stole the crown, when everyone got sucked into a portal.
Burgess/Guardians
Jamie just finished his fun filled sleigh ride when the guardians were talking about how to get Jack to the North Pole. Suddenly a portal opened to take Jack, the kids and the Guardians all in.
Everyone plopped down on the floor; they all stared at each other until mayhem broke loose.
"WHERE ARE WE?"
"WHOEVER DID THIS I DEMAND YOU TO SHOW YOURSELF!"
Suddenly, from the shadows a girl with dirty blond hair and blue eyes appeared. She had brown, square like glasses and a smirk on her face. "My name is Rainstormer98, but you can just call me Rain. I'm here to show you a movie about four special people." Tuffnut snorted, "Like anyone in this room is special." Rain glared at him, she stepped closer, and said "There are actually special people in this room. Obviously you're not one."
Rain sighed, "Okay, to the theatre!" She guided them to tis large room with seats going in long rows. Rain seated everyone to their assigned seats. Rapunzel sat next Gothel (Much to Rains' disgust) Merida sat next to her Mother and three brothers as Hiccup sat next to Fishlegs. Jack sat next to North and Sandy.
"These four special people contain two girls and two boys. They all are special in their own way; one is very brave another is creative. Another one is intelligent and the other is known as the fun one."
The red curtains revealed a huge screen, everyone gasped. Rain smiled, "Let's start the movie-"
Merida cut her off, "What's a movie?" Jack gasped, "What how do you not know what a movie is?" Rain shook her head, "Jack, she's from a long time ago. A movie is a set of moving pictures." Merida nodded. Jack looked bewildered, "How do you know my name?" "Magic." She said, making a funny face.
"Shall we start?" Rain said having a huge grin upon her face.
SETTING: SCOTLAND
Merida was on one knee, her bow aiming at a faraway target. Her face was covered by her humongous red curls. The arrow flew hitting a straight bull's eye. The camera zoomed back to Merida's face which now looked much older.
Merida's mouth hung open, she looked so different. Her mother had the same expression on her face, "Wow." She breathed.
Merida inhaled then exhaled slowly, running her hand through her luscious curls. She got up from her position to go after her arrow, but she stood still.
Hiccup looked confused, "Why isn't she moving?" Rain shushed him, "You'll see."
Dark sand blew from the ocean she could see in the distance. Merida looked frightened, but determined, she started running to her destination.
Pitch smirked noticing that was his sand, he wonder what he would do.
SETTING: DUNBROCH CASTLE
A chest swung open, revealing an emerald. Merida took it and attached it to an arrow.
"What is an emerald going to do?" questioned Snotlout.
She ran to the roof noticing the black sand not going near the castle.
MERIDA: Huh?
She started to see there was a force field. How did it get there? She wondered. Merida shook her head and shot the jeweled arrow. It broke through the force field, exploding in the sky creating an aurora.
Everyone gasped, the guardians too, they noticed it was the same aurora they used for signaling the team. "She is trying to get the other three. You know of the big four." Merida stood silent; she was a part of the big four? She didn't think she was that special.
SETTING: BURGESS
Jack was frosting up a tree, making the leaves slowly fall off. He watched the kids around him play. His eyes wondered to the sky, as he noticed the aurora he gasped.
Jack was speechless, him? An invisible human being with weird ice powers was part of a special group?
SETTING: BERK
Hiccup was fixing the calibration on his flight suit. He looked upwards to see the aurora flowing across the sky. He looked down at the flight suit and shook his head. He whistled signaling Toothless.
Hiccup was in shock in awe, the useless person he was, was in this special group? The village's mouths hung open, this was Hiccup he was awfully handsome too, but who was he signaling?
Suddenly a huge black dragon swooped from out of the camera's view. It landed in front of Hiccup, its scales reflecting off the sunset in the distance.
Hiccup sucked in his breath, why did Toothless have to show up? The village stared at the screen in confusion, how could he get that close to a dragon without killing it? Fishlegs broke the villages' thoughts as he wondered out loud, "I wonder what dragon that is?" The village groaned.
Hiccup smiled and scratched Toothless's 'sweet spot'. The dragon purred in delight, before its eye wondered to the sky. The aurora shone brighter, the dragon gurgled with worry.
HICCUP: It's okay bud.
Stoick was shaking with anger, "HICCUP! HOW COULD YOU BEFRIEND A DRAGON, THEY ARE OUR ENEMIES!" Hiccup winced at the loudness and he was pretty sure everyone else in the theatre did.
Rain shook her head, her hand slapped against her forehead, "Stoick, please. All will be explained in the movie. Now shush!" Everyone went silent in the theatre.
Hiccup leapt onto the back of Toothless and hooked the harness to his flight suit. They took off in the sky, making the illusion the sun was swallowing their form altogether.
Stoick sighed; he mumbled a quiet, "Oh great, now he's riding it."
SETTING: CORONA
The camera zoomed into the Corona castle; a transition formed and slowly showed Rapunzel knitting a nice scarf. Her eyes were so intent on what she was creating she couldn't feel Pascal nudging her shoulder. Her short brown hair was more groomed than choppy.
Rapunzel gaped at this movie, showing what her future is like. She touched her hair to make sure her long locks were there. Why was she in a castle? And when did she become so special? No one should know, she's been stuck in a castle all her life.
Gothel felt a little uneasy with this. Her plan could be found out in no time, but with the dumbness of Rapunzel and the rulers of Corona she was sure to be ok for now.
Her eyes soon flickered to Pascal.
RAPUNZEL: Hey Pascal, I know you're still used to us playing games, but I like my alone time.
Pascal could be heard doing an audible sigh. His tail pointed towards the window located directly in front of Rapunzel. She placed her knitting tools down and walked towards the window. Her eyes widened at the sight of the purplish-green aurora.
RAPUNZEL: Pascal! Where did I last put North's snow globe?
North eyed the screen suspiciously, how did she get one of my snow globes?
Rapunzel dug through a familiar brown satchel and found the new-looking snow globe. The snow piled on the bottom as a hint of magic swirled with it.
Flynn stared confusingly at the satchel, it looked just like his. He glanced at the Stabbington Brothers at the top of the row, he quickly turned back to the screen, noticing their displeased faces.
Rapunzel twirled the globe in her hands, she shook her it, imagining the place she wanted to visit.
RAPUNZEL: To DunBroch castle.
A view of the Scottish castle formed into the globe.
The children oohed at the magical scene.
Rapunzel chucked the globe to her window, right before it smahed through, the portal bursted open creating an illusion like you were going through a galaxy in the speed of light.
She jumped in and disappeared into the portal, along with Pascal.
SETTING: SCOTLAND
Merida watched the sky intently, worrying over her land. Her hands were shaking and as her lip trembled with fear. She bit down on it, her head going to the ground as her clump of hair followed.
"Wow lass, Ah've ne'ver seen ye tha' scared." Fergus whispered to his daughter. She sneered playfully at her father and whacked his arm.
Merida clenched the bow in her hand and quietly calmed herself. Her hair started to blow in one direction, her curls were now covering her entire face. She started to lose balance from the force of wind being blown against her.
The wind stop to see her curls in frenzy, but it revealed her hotheaded face. Jack landed on the roof with her, his staff making him regain balance from the fast flight.
JACK: Long time, no see, Frizzball.
"Frizzball?!" Merida yelled across the theatre, she was now standing facing the white haired teen. Jack put his hands up in surrender, "Sorry, but remember this is in the future. So don't blame it on me, blame it on him." He said, pointing to his figure frozen on screen.
Merida groaned, "But he's you-and, but-ugh." She gave up and sat back down waiting for the movie to start up again.
MERIDA: Still playing that game, Frostface?
Eleanor glared at Merida for being unladylike in the presence. Merida rolled her eyes at her mothers demands, she could already tell from the look in her mothers eyes that she shouldn't of said that, but still...that wasn't her now.
Suddenly a portal ripped through the air, the inside swirling like crazy with colors everywhere. Out came Rapunzel, she tumbled out and landed straight onto her bum.
The crowd winced at her fall.
Rapunzel helped herself up to stand on the roof. Her eyes shifted to Merida and Jack as a huge grin covered her face.
RAPUNZEL: Merida!
She leapt into her friends arms and Merida returned the hug. They broke apart and Rapunzel turned her vision, to Jack. She scowled at him, as he spread out his arms, awaiting a hug from her.
JACK: What? No hug?
RAPUNZEL: I'm still mad at you about the hair thing.
She pet her short brown locks with a sad expression. The angle of the camera turned to a smirking Merida.
Rapunzel looked over to the white haired spirit, "So you were the one who cut my hair?" Jack groaned and yelled, "So are you trying to make everyone hate me?" He glared at Rain.
Rain smiled and shook her head, "No. Though I can if you want me to." Jack shook his head violently and Rain started to resume the movie.
MERIDA: I swear that shard of glass was so close to her face, your lucky for your good aiming.
The people gasped, even Pitch looked surprised towards Jack. Bunny tisked, "A shard of glass? Throwing it to a poor girls face?" Jack sneered at Bunny, "For your information, Cottontail," Bunny scowled at the word, "I was probably doing it for a good reason."
Jack rolled his eyes, his staff now curled up beneath him as his chin rested on it. Merida was looking over at Rapunzel who now looked pretty irritated.
JACK: You should all be praising me right now, I saved your life!
RAPUNZEL: Okay, I'll give you that.
"See!" Jack bursted out, agreeing with himself onscreen.
Merida was gazing at the sky, her eyes scanning the clouds. Rapunzel followed her trail of vision and looked back down.
RAPUNZEL: Hiccup should be here by now, the aurora should've gotten to Berk quicker than Corona or Burgess.
Hiccup's ears perked at the metion of his name onscreen.
Merida's vision was back on the group, she nodded, facing Jack in suspicion.
MERIDA: Present day Burgess, you mean. By the way, how were you the first to get here when your all the way back 2012.
The villages gaped, that was like a bijillion years from now.
Jack was about to answer but the screech of a familiar dragon was heard, a black blur came racing to the roof. It landed with a thud as a figure hopped off, he changed the section of his leg and it rotated to a one that made him capable to walk.
The villiage of Berk and especially Hiccup, gasped. His leg was missing and was replaced by a prosthetic. Hiccup shifted his left foot to make sure it was still there.
Merida gaped at his tallness and her hands went to cover her tinted pink cheeks. She groaned into her hands as the others stared.
MERIDA: I think I shrunk.
The theatre burst out laughing at her comment. Merida's face was red from embarressment.
Hiccup chuckled, while Rapunzel started to bumbard him with questions.
RAPUNZEL: How's being cheif going?
Hiccup sighed, the last thing he wanted was to be cheif. Stoick turned to look at Hiccup, maybe there was still hope for Berk.
HICCUP: Alright I guess, just still cleaning up.
The group understood, ever since the Drago accident he's been pretty down. The distruction was a lot to clean up and Merida never got to formally go to the big Stoick funeral.
MERIDA: Heh, sorry I didn't go-to well...
"Go to what!?" Snotlout screamed. He wanted her to get to the point, eve though he realized he was talking to a frozen figure on a screen. Rain shifted uncomfortably and mumbled, "It's best you don't know."
Hiccup nodded, understanding her absence for the last few years.
HICCUP: It's fine, I knew it was around the time of your cornoration.
Eleanor was surprised, Merida agreed to be queen. She was sure her daughter would've just ran away with her beloved horse and die of doing her dare devil stunts.
Merida on the other hand was okay with being queen, even though it took much responsibilities she knew she could handle them. She didn't need a man also, with her father teaching her fighting tactics and moves in war she could easily prepare or even lead one.
MERIDA: That reminds me, Rapunzel how are you with being queen?
"Queen!?" Rapunzel shouted, now standing with full shock. The kingdom of Corona was starting to fill with whispers. Some yelled, "Is she the lost princess?" Gothel gulped and turned to Rain who was sighing and looked up at Rapunzel, "This will all be revealed in the movie, alright?"
The kingdom calmed down at waited for the movie to continue.
Rapunzel shrugged, smiling along.
RAPUNZEL: It's okay, better than I thought.
MERIDA: Any kids yet?
Rapunzel stared wide eyed at the scene playing out in front of her.
Rapunzel shook her head, her hands folding in front of her stomach.
RAPUNZEL: No, I have the same problem as my mom...
The group nodded as Jack decided to speak up from his loss of words.
JACK: So, why did you signal us?
MERIDA: Pitch is back.
Pitch smiled evily at the screen, defeating these poor kids would be easy.
HICCUP: Wait, what do you mean Pitch is back? We defeated him.
North stared approvingly at the screen, Manny must've chosen the right group of people to fight evil.
MERIDA: I-I mean I think it's him, same sand as last time.
The group sighed at Merida's stuborness. They were all about to tell Merida that she should've called them if she knew it was Pitch, but when Rapunzel turned around her eyes widened. Black sand came swirling towards them, the forcefield vanished as it came hurdling towards the castle.
JACK: Yep, it's Pitch.
MERIDA: See! Now what's the plan?
RAPUNZEL: Plan? There's no time for a plan, run!
The group ran inside of castle as they followed Merida to a safe zone. They all sat in a damp closed off area, the walls were thick and the door was locked tight. No windows were located in the room.
HICCUP: So is now a good time for a plan?
The rest nodded and started to think of a plan themselves. Then they all tried to think of how they last defeated Pitch. And here's where you'll find out.
The screen went black then in big bold letters filled with the color white was shown on the screen, it said:
10 YEARS AGO
"Wait, wait...ten years ago? Why the sudden throwback?" Asked Jack. Rain answered a grin plastered on her face, "It's going to show how you guys all met and became the big four, and how you all defeated Pitch.
"Phew! I thought that was the end." Jack replied back. Rain shook her head, "No, no.. this is only the beginning."
A/N: YES! I've been trying to get this chapter done for so long, I started this back in November and totally forgot about it. These will be updated slowly as I try to figure out a plot.
