Harry's Point of View

The Dursley's dropped me off at King's Cross station telling me that they would be back to pick me up at the end of the school year. Looking at the ticket that Hagrid gave me I saw that is said platform 9 ¾. What the bloody hell there is no platform 9 ¾ there is platform 9 and there is platform 10 there is nothing in between. I was always observant so I looked around for anyone who was dressed weirdly. I didn't see anyone dressed weirdly but I did see a young boy and his grandmother run through a wall between platforms 9 and 10.

"I do not think that there is a platform 9 ¾," I heard a voice say from behind me. Looking over my shoulder I saw a beautiful young girl talking to a woman who must be her mother. She had a trolley with a trunk on it just like mine. "So she must be coming to hogwarts and not know what is going on like me," I thought excitedly.

"Hello can you help me find platform 9 ¾?" I asked the young girl politely.

"Sorry we have yet to find it, though we can work together," She responded kindly. Taking a closer look at the girl I noticed that she had bushy long brown hair. Her muddy brown eyes sparkled with excitement. She was the prettiest girl I had ever seen. Then someone caught my eye, it was a group of redheads, I watched as two boys, who looked like twins, sprint towards the wall between platforms nine and ten. Suddenly the boys disappeared. I tapped on the girls shoulder gently to get her attention.

"Look over there," I whispered pointing towards the redheads.

"So that is how we get through," She said happily. We started to walk towards the wall. When we got close enough we started to run. Then I felt this weird sensation and the next thing I know is that I am standing next to the girl in the middle of a busy station with a train that said Hogwarts Express on it.

"We best get on the train, so we don't miss it," the girl said as she hugged her mom goodbye. Together we climbed on the train. Soon we had found an empty compartment witch we took over.

"I never caught your name," I said to the girl.

"Hermione Granger, I didn't catch your eather," Hermione said.

"Harry Potter," I answered. We spent the rest of the trip chatting and getting to know each other. By the time we got to Hogwarts we were best friends.
