Waves of blue

Grover and I walked up to the administrations building of Forks High, my brown and sea green eyes darting back and forth. At every normal high school, we made the freaky couple, the girl with dyslexia and ADHD with the cripple. But, at Camp Half Blood, we were the team that had taken out too many monsters to count, and the girl the daughter of one of the big three. I whisperd, "Grov', what do the signs say?" he laughed. "Administrations building, Iz'." he was the only one allowed to call me that, to everyone else it was Bella. "Thanks." I whispered again, Grover was a Satyr, a half goat, half man. He wore crutches to disguise it. Apparently we were at the office, and Grover opened the door. "Thanks." I repeated. "'Course, Iz'" he replied, his lip twitching. He walked in and we saw an aging woman behind the desk in the corner. "Hello, I'm Grover, and this is Isabella." I glared at him. "Just Bella please." she nodded. "Here are your schedules and a slip to be signed by all your teachers." When I saw the schedules, I started twitching. Too. Many. Words. It was in English, and Grover realized what had me twitching. "Um, Miss? Can I have classes with Iz? She has Dyslexia, and can only read... um, Latin." he explained. She looked at me, surprised, "Sure, just take one schedule." I nodded and smiled gratefully. Grover looked at the schedule. "Biology, a great start to every day!" I groaned, and he took my hand, still laughing. While we walked to class, an asian boy with greasy hair walked up confidently. "Hey, Isabella, can I walk you to your class?" I stared at him. "It's Bella, and no thanks. Grover's gonna walk me. I have dyslexia, so he translates any writing into Latin 'cause I can't read in English." he looked crestfallen. "Yeah." he muttered and walked away. I wrapped an arm around Grover, who had stiffened through the encounter. "Welcome to hell, Grover." he laughed. " 'S not hell without Hades." I giggled at his mention of my brother and his trip to hell. "Or Persephone." he frowned. "Hey, we're just friends." I rolled my eyes. "Just friends now, but I don't care. Takes a lot to make me jealous. " he smiled as we walked into class. I gave the slip to the teacher. "Miss Jackson, go sit next to ." I panicked. "I need Grover to translate the assignment! I can only read in Latin." Mr. Banner sighed. "Fine, Miss Stanley, go sit next to Mr. Cullen." A girl squealed, and I winced as we made our way to the back. "I feel really bad about that." Grover laughed while writing the ancient Greek characters. "Fem stalker. Fun." the lesson passed uneventfully, and the rest without incident. Then was lunch, and things really got exciting. Apparently someone thought it would be funny if they sent Percy to the same high school. A boy that looked exactly like me walked in, and I froze. His eyes roamed the cafeteria for Grover, and landed on me. His jaw dropped down to the floor, and he let out an audible gasp. I cringed. I was gonna have Chiron's head for this. He walked determinedly to our table and I buried my head in my hands. Grover started fidgeting. "Perc' meet Bella Jackson. Bella you know Perc'." I hugged Percy. "Miss me?" he smiled weakly. "Yeah sis'."
